Is it fair to assume he was caught sleeping with a teammate's wife? - Atomic Wedgie
Kesler plays for the Ducks, not the blue jackets Wedgie, come on man. |

Must be a thing from his Flyers days |

JVR for Bob. It is clear to me that the 38 goal season for JVR was somewhat of a mirage. Sign Bob to a 1 year deal, with an option for a 2nd year, to platoon with Hart. |

No such thing as an "option" in the NHL. |

OK, no such thing as an option in the NHL.Then we give him the 2 year deal, and if they want to ship him out after the 2019-20 season, they can do so to a team that needs a starter at that point. |

So your plan is to trade JVR for a goalie that you only hope to use for:
a) the rest of the lost 2018-19 season; and
b) the first year of a Flyers rebuild?
It's a bold move, to be sure.
You may want to consider playing out the rest of the season and simply offering Bobrovsky a contract on July 1st...
Edit: and one might also question why Bobrovsky, a 30 year old goalie, would be eager to sign a two-year contract as a UFA. |

Send him out west, maybe even to a place like Edmonton. |
