We all know Johnson isn't going anywhere and it's been reported that the idea of moving Maatta is laughable to people in the Pens organization.

Based on that, who of any value is left?

I’d like JO more if he could stay within his limits and find an identity. He has an element that no other player on the team has but he rarely utilizes it. If he’s in the lineup I want him playing defence first and playing physical. He’s also is the easiest most cost effective player to move of the guys that aren’t essential.

Well DeSmith is clearly going nowhere and I'd say it's HIGHLY unlikely Brass goes anywhere unless they have another 3C coming back.

I wish he wasn't, but there doesn't seem to be a spot for him once Schultz gets back and he's battling with Riikola for the #7 spot and makes 3x as much.

It's just similar to the Sprong situation where most people would probably prefer him over JJ, but Sullivan doesn't and JJ is untradable anyways so it just makes sense.

He’s a fine bottom pairing defensemen but we have a million of them and he’s movemable. He’s some cap we can afford to move with some semblence of value.
