A lot of the content is not spectacular when it's their own opinions. The article explains how Cull has been handling the rookies in Utica. Pretty much explained why Carcone and Archie were traded to make room for the young crop of players.

How they have been cycling the prospects to play with different centers to show them work ethic.

As he said, a lot of people who don't watch Comets games just look at stats and think they know the whole story.

i haven't read an article of theirs in a really long time, but from what I can remember, they are just a bunch of Canuck fans writing their personal opinion, calling it an article, and using advanced stats and metrics to drive their points. Essentially nothing more than if any of us were to write a 10 paragraph blog, using whatever sources that we could find, and calling it an article. I certainly don't lean towards the far-right when it comes to American politics, but seeing most of the CA guys slam Gaudette and Madden for their political views rather than analyzing their performance as hockey players was one of the reasons I decided to never read their bullsh|t.

I can't say i've ever read any articles that have contained any political points of view. I don't normally like the content of the articles I read from CA writers. The article I just read as I said had a decent amount of explanation on what was happening in Utica with regards to the rookies.

IMHO - this was some of your best work yet. Points 1 - 4 are the kind of hockey news that I can eat with a spoon, but almost never see in the mainstream press. Really digs at the complexity of hockey from the managerial and mental/emotional aspect.

Archie and Carcone were moved because they were on a one way contract making too much money for what they did. Even after they were moved the young players did not get into the line up immediately .

Comets are trying to win like any other team and trying to ice the best team possible. I bet after next years draft and players are brought in Gadjovich will still have problems finding minutes

Even though Archie and Carcone were traded weeks ago Goadjovich was a healthy scratch last weekend for two games

I watched part of the game against the marlies, but very little beyond that. just a few highlights here and there. he looks like he is battling a bit more.

hoping some of these guys develop but if you don't show glimpses of something almost right away, I can see how guys can get buried.

Fair take. Having said that EDM played a tough game after that and WPG will take care of their own...we just sit there and do nothing. Old school thinking or not whether it's the same game, two months or two weeks something should be done IMO. We are soft and need to shed that image.
