lol I don't mind Green and am hoping eventually the fact that he WAS an NHL player will eventually translate to the kids. But it's clear he has a lot to learn at the NHL level like most rookie coaches.

But the only thing anyone ever complains about with G-dog is his goal totals. That they go in off his ass, or that he has "five career goals" (it's six now after the beauty snipe this year). Being angry at a guy making less than a million, who is a perfectly fine 4th line LW and can fill in as a C in a pinch makes no sense to me if you aren't going to hold the other guys to the same standard. I'm pretty sure if you go back in time, the the year 2008 everyone who followed the Caps would have told you Beagle was a career minor leaguer...

Now, if you want to say that foot speed, effort, hockey sense, whatever other metrics are used to measure the performance of a bottom six winger in the NHL are lacking, then perhaps you have a point.
