Southstar's offer
Nashville receives:
Matt Duchene
Mark Stone

Ottawa receives:
Kevin Fiala
Eeli Tolvanen
rights to Dante Fabbro
1st round draft pick

This is the best/most realistic of the offers. Nashville loves big deals (Kariya, Forsberg) so this fits with Poille’s mentality

The best offer for Stone is the one that doesn't even include Stone...

Only if at least one of the two is signed.

Best deal for Sens PROVIDED the Carolina 1st is unconditional:

riceroni's offer:
To Carolina:
- Stone, Dzingel, Boro

To Ottawa:
- Hamilton, Bean, 2019 1st UNconditional

Worst deal for SensKasian is worth a 5th rounder and Puljuarvi too big of a gamble)
Chamber99's offer:
Edmonton - Stone
Ottawa - Kassian and Puljujarvi

There's no way that Mike Stone and Mark Stone are going to swap teams and not end up on the same roster together.
So if Ottawa will take Mike Stone then it's because they want it as incentive to resign Mark.
I don't see Neal and Ottawa being a good fit, either.

The best way to move Neal is in a three-way, with Vegas.

Neal to Vegas, Stone to Calgary, Stastny to Ottawa
Add minor picks and conditions, where required, to make things fair all around.

Agreed. I really don't see many realistic proposals in the bunch.

Agreed

Still don't think it's enough if Stone is included; especially after what happened with Karlsson. That said, don't doubt Dorion maybe being pressured into this with an absent owner and need to get return. Again I'd rather retain Stone and trade players like Dzingel, Smith, Boedker, Tierney over the next 12 months

Ottawa doesn't have much say into that, if they wanted to keep him they had the chance to re-sign for a longer term instead they low balled him.

If you think 4 1st round picks (3 solid prospects and a 1st) is not enough for two UFA players then you will be disappointed no matter what.

The Edmonton offer is a joke. Kassian is a nut job and Puljujarvi is an AHL'er at best. Try RNH and a 1st round pick for starters.

Kassian isn't wanted by any team. The Oilers told him to talk to teams earlier in the year because he wanted out- no one bit. Puljujarvi isn't close to being enough for Stone.

Not debating what isnt enough, but RNH + a 1st for 3 months of Stone for a team that's not even in the playoffs as we speak, that's a reasonable proposal?

1. Most of those offers are pretty bad.
2. How can this list include both of these offers?

TO EDM: Stone
TO OTT : Puljujarvi, Kassian

TO EDM: Stone
TO OTT: Puljujarvi, Nurse, 1st-2019, Sekera

I agree with 1 & 2... with the 2nd being extremely laughable

1) If Stone gets to play with McDavid he may well want that to continue and sign longer term.

2) Stone on McDavid's wing most likely gets them to the playoffs.

3) Now you can play Draisitl as second line center and have two legit top lines.

Neither Calgary offer makes ANY sense and the Oiler offer is nuts, Ottawa would just be "giving" Stone away. The only two that make ANY sense out of all of these is either the Carolina offer or the Nashville one, and those two would need some tweaking.

4) The fact that you're completely ignoring the question leads me to believe that you're also very aware it was a ballsack of a proposal... sweaty ballsack!

Would you give up an established, signed top 6 forward + a 1st for a rental? ... a simple NO will do!
