Unless something insane happens in a month the flames are going to have a painfully quiet trade dead line (im very ok with that!)
Ottawa I feel is going to end up screwed again with either mark or matt and that's too bad because there is a good chance they got screwed with jack hughes too. The avs windfall when they either flip him for defense or someone else for defense as they will have insane forwards! |

4) The fact that you're completely ignoring the question leads me to believe that you're also very aware it was a ballsack of a proposal... sweaty ballsack!
Would you give up an established, signed top 6 forward + a 1st for a rental? ... a simple NO will do! - obie
5) Who said he was a rental - can you read. If they make the playoffs its a mid 1st rounder. And you seem to like the word ball sack. Interesting analogy. Speaks volumes whats on your mind. Just keep your lips off mine. |

Ummm the fact he doesn't have a contract next season says he's a rental....
What's really funny is out of all that, the word ballsack really stood out to you and your first thought was another dude's lips... interesting turn of event! Point remains, your offer was a flaming turd and you should be ashamed of yourself |

Actually any dude who comments about ballsacks, especially sweaty ones to a dude he doesn't know is pretty creepy. Point remains who said rental read - my comment. You should leave male genitalia out of your commentary. It's just creepy. |

Which you just did twice in one paragraph... let's get back on track here, doesn't matter what little scenario you come up with in that pea size brain of yours, Stone doesn't have a contract next season so he's being dealt as a rental... to include a conditional pick that turns into a 1st if he resigns is one thing but your original proposal said RNH and a 1st TO START, no less.... |

Disagree on the Flames quiet deadline - The Flames core is very young and they have some GREAT contracts in the CAP era (Johnny, Mony, Lindholm etc). I think the Flames will make a big play for Stone to play with Chucky and Backs giving them 5 top 20 scorers on lines 1 & 2. |

I totally agree but really hope they don’t give up bennett,Jankowski, kylington valamki, Andersson, backlund |

Any offer with Stone in it is so far off it ain't even laughable anymore .Stone will be signed and made the senators next Captain .He is the only vet on the team whom is worth the price of a Senator ticket knowing he is going to give you excellant work even when he has a bad game . Dzingel is all but gone because of how good he is doing and being the 3rd wherl because of stone and Dutchy . As for dutchy he is the one all those trades would actually be for considering playoffs is what he wants and Ottawa cant give that for atleast a few more years . |

Stone wont come for nothing though and Ottawa will want young quality assets or high picks in return. |

Referring to a ballsack obsessed smurf no less. Did Kane end up being a rental when he went to the Sharks? Making the playoffs for the Oilers this year after their run of disasters and 1st overall mispicks is huge this year. They need Stone alot more than most any other team. How do they make sure they get him? They will have to overpay. |

Don't completely disagree but if the deadline comes and he's not signed what do the Sens do? As depleted as they are, they really cant afford to let him walk for nothing!
The other thing Sens fans need to understand is most of the teams in contention for Stone are up against the cap and will be acquiring him as a rental and that wont bring back value like it would if he had term. NO ONE IS PAYING WHAT THE SENS PAYED FOR DUCHENE IF HE'S A PENDING UFA |

Yeah, and then when he doesn't resign (entirely likely), the Oil will have given up one of their only 3 top-6 forwards and their 1st for 2-4 months of Stone. Genius.
I'm used to the "Oilers always have to overpay because they're desperate" narrative, but that's just asinine. Wanna know who else is desperate? The team at the bottom of the league that gave up an absurd haul for Duchene, got less-than-expected for Karlsson and now runs the risk (not commenting on the likelihood) of losing Duchene and Stone to UFA for nothing while having difficulty selling tickets and not having their 1st for this year. That's right- Ottawa. |

To Colorado: Mark Stone and Ryan Dzingle
To Ottawa: Ottawa's 1st and 3rd 2019 and Colorado's 1st 2019
Colorado I believe could potentially resign both players and for Ottawa gets the picks they need for rebuilding. Then Ottawa can keep Duchene as they will need the high salary to get to the cap floor. Ottawa gets there own picks back and Colorado's 1st is basically a 2nd. Hell I will even give them there 3rd round pick back. |

Did the Sharks give a roster player resembling anything close to RNH? |

The Edmonton offer is a joke. Kassian is a nut job and Puljujarvi is an AHL'er at best. Try RNH and a 1st round pick for starters. - Tebeaune
Points out a flawed offer. Suggests something even more ridiculous. |

wbodnark offer is a joke, but most Leaf fans way over rate their players worth. |

There's no way that Mike Stone and Mark Stone are going to swap teams and not end up on the same roster together.
So if Ottawa will take Mike Stone then it's because they want it as incentive to resign Mark.
I don't see Neal and Ottawa being a good fit, either.
The best way to move Neal is in a three-way, with Vegas.
Neal to Vegas, Stone to Calgary, Stastny to Ottawa
Add minor picks and conditions, where required, to make things fair all around. - MABster
Why in the world would Vegas do that?
