Absolute crappola!!
In Edmonton’s situation I’m not trading any futures for a rental. I’d trade a lottery protected 2019 1st round pick plus Bear or Kemp for Stone. Sekera has to go as well. Then it’s worth it. They will never trade Nurse or Bouchard unless it’s a homerun.

That’s absolutely ludicrous....
Even PC wouldn’t get fleeced that hard for a play who potentially won’t stay in FA.
Just Nurse should be enough to get that done and unless they at in a real position to make the playoffs come deadline day, that’s a hard no from oil country....

Brown for the Stone rental... doubt the sens would take it, but it'd actually be good for them given Brown's cheap contract and underrated.... If they know they can't sign Stone at all - but really...Brown for Stone doesn't seem like enough...they aren't getting that prospect who could become amazing. Brown could be a legit 2nd line winger over his career with good linemates, but that's his top potential.

lol, but apparently bracco is a "high" level prospect...that guy who's name we've heard cuz we're leaf fans and he was drafted by the leafs... you can't just trade that for Stone...might as well shoot for McDavid. Connor Brown and Bracco for Connor McDavid.
