This team is at least 2 years away from being a solid playoff team. Gotta lose some of those long, horrid contracts that Holland gave many of the vets. The sad thing is they're not even valuable assets that can be traded because they're so overpaid (Abelkader, Dekeyser, Neilson, Ericcson, Glendening, etc...). Detroit leads the NHL with 10 no-trade clauses on the team. Which is nuts considering how little depth the veterans on this team have.
