He’s just been deadly. He looks like he’s absorbing some of Sid’s skills.

No doubt, he's a smart player. Always in good spots.

They should of started Rikki in the AHL I think that could've rounded him out more because he's got good offensive skills

He just keeps getting better.

Gotta give some love to Wilson on that play. He won the battle in the corner and turned that puck over.

I really have no idea what kind of mental gymnastics you have to play in order to come to the conclusion that Guentzel or really any of the guys that have come up through here besides Sprong, are entitled. All G, Rust, and Sheary have ever done is bust their asses for this team.

Agreed. The amount of room on the international ice gives D men a bit more time to make a play. It’s definitely an adjustment. The A would’ve been perfect for him. I hope they find a way to sign him to a similar contract for another year or two.

Yeah he's such a solid player, I love his game too. I feel like his game is one that translates well in the playoffs when things tighten up.

Yup! I was hoping it would(like everyone else). This could be huge and something to watch for. If we don't have to trade Brass man that's huge. Geno and Phil need to get back at it. Mostly Geno.

Yeah it was with Guentzel, but you don't think a line of Rust-Sheahan-Kessel could work?
- j.boyd919

Depends on who you’re replacing Rust with. Gotta believe it would be Simon, right? Then 14-71-72 as the 2nd line? I’m good with that. Honestly, Simon just looks good anywhere right now as long as he’s getting puck touches
