It’s very obvious that Grinder has an age cut off where he just hates all players bellow a certain age because they’re pushing out his favorite vets. Unless the stats people don’t like a young guy in which case he buys up all the stock to #OwnTheNerds.

I said it a while ago but I think we’re the worst team in the league when we pull the goalie (which we didn’t do tonight) because we are CONSTANTLY trying to pass through the opposition. It’s basically the same thing when we’re on the man advantage. Our power play was trash tonight other than those few seconds where Sid found Kessel in front.

The Coyotes played hard for much of the game. A couple of their smaller forwards do a great job of possessing the puck in the offensive zone and their bigger guys laid out some big hits. I hope the Pens have a bunch of energy in the tank for Vegas because I don’t think they’ll go nearly this easy on us

Coyotes are good man. Young, fast and in sync. Pens matched it for the most part, especially in the 2nd. The thing is, if the Pens work as hard, or more so, than the team they're playing, they have alot of world class game breaker skill to finish.

Maybe the end game for Geno is wing but it's not anywhere near now haha. I liked our third line last night, let Geno and Phil mesh back together here and we could finally have our top 9 looking good. Honestly I wish one of Phil or Horny would play LW cause that's gonna get annoying when he gets back.
