Again you are equivalenting that if a person doesn't have something another has, they must be jealous. Maybe that's how it works in California, not everywhere else.

Having some material object does not correlate to success or harder working. Now if the person has the means to purchase said object then they are more than happy to, but again still says absolutely nothing about the person other than they had the money to buy it.

I know this is mind blowing, but people actually lease cars too...... *kaboom*

You ever go to Miami I can recommend a couple places that rent out exotics, they got Lambos, Ferraris, McLarens...Lotus Elise is really fun to drive. You can rent one and show how big your pants are.

Not so much jealousy some people just don’t give a poop. I’m conscientious not to open car/truck/van door and hit anyone’s car etc regardless of price. It’s about respecting things even though it’s not yours.

Come on out to Irvine, CA and Orange county if you want to see fancy cars. Hell just come to our main campus and you can see them. They are everywhere and half of them I have never heard of.

I'm not a fancy car guy. Audiophile gear is the only real frivolous expense I allow myself. Okay that and going to a few Supernatural conventions every year.

For me working harder and smarter then those I compete against and achieving success means hitting the targets I have set for myself. CCIE, various VMware certs, stable career in IT that constantly progresses. Aiming for those things allows me to live life the way I want with my family and friends.
