Justin Lowe: Appreciating Patrick Kane
Wow. I can’t believe how hard this blog was to write.

I wanted to take a step back to salute the career of Patrick Kane amidst potentially his best statistical year ever.

So why was this so hard to write if he’s such an amazing talent with so many accolades? Well, there’s almost too much and it was hard to categorize. Therefore, I’ve taken a different approach and below is a Patrick Timothy Kane II’s resume.

Trading Kane restocks your cupboards and would be easy to get a team to bite on. I don't think the hawks have anyone else with that potential. Not saying that they should do it, but I can see the logic.

Your core competencies were killing me, hahaha! Creative piece, TC. Very nice.

Great reasons to hold onto him. I say he retires a hawk.

My favorite moment: 2010 celebration, he did his, "That's hockey, baby!" Then, walked to the railing, leaned over, and puked. Classy guy.

Question :"Who wouldn’t hire this guy? "

Answer: General Manager James Tanner.

Favorite Kane story - Philly STILL trying to figure out how the puck entered the net.

I'm sure there a quite a few young readers wondering "What's a Phone Booth"?

He’s meh. He’s little, doesn’t hit and doesn’t play defense. We should trade him for Rick Nash or two grinders with some skill.

The ghost of hockey blog’s past.

Nice write up TCS!

Definitely love the 2nd one, despite the outcome. The 3rd one is just backhand shenanigans. Minny hates us. 1st, love the haircut with the 3 lines cut in the sides. That's my favorite thing next to the playoff beard. It still gives me goosebumps, because I knew Kane was playing to f*** s*** up!!! All beautiful videos. I'll offer up one.

I always thought that was a time traveling phone booth. Police thing? Damn. Despite that, I know what a phone booth is.

That's what I get for trying to crack a joke, hahaha!

Great player no doubt. And in my opinion, should remain part of this current rebuild UNLESS the package back was earth-shattering.

Kane still has enuf to be part of the 2021-2025 Hawk dynasty that includes:
Kane, DeBrincat, Strome, Jokijarvu, Boqvist, JACK HUGHES, etc

Lose for Hughes.....we are right there now. Please, no useless winning streak these last 30 games!!!!

The wonder twins are only a few years older than me, so I truly enjoyed and cherished "growing" up with both Toews and Kane. I truly enjoyed and cherished the Hawk's mini Dynasty. I wasn't really old enough to appreciate the Bulls Dynasty, so It's pretty cool to have this team - even if they're in a rough spot right now.

They're several years older than me, but still appreciate the winning years. I hate basketball, but really like Jordan and that team.

Wow. so many great memories.
Shorty vs Nashville to tie the game.
Game 6 vs Tampa to seal the Cup.

I've thrown 2 hats (my favorite ones) in my lifetime and both were Patrick Kane playoff hat tricks.

I hate the NBA now. Baseball and hockey are my fav sports. Back to Kane though. He'll go down as the best American born player to play the game and I think he gets one more cup with the Hawks before he retires.

Baseball was my favorite when I was really little. Don't care for it now. I loved the Diamondbacks. Quickest team to come into the league and win ... boom! Great 2001 team! Cool the Sox won, never liked the Cubs. Boo and hiss me, it's totally cool. Football and hockey for me.

Agree with both Kane statements: greatest American born and will hoist the cup again.

I think with some hard work and a bit more time on the ice this Patrick Kane guy could be a serviceable hockey player one day.

Thank you. I've never actually seen any version of the show, just heard things about it. Always thought the Tardis was a phone booth. Forgive the ignorance avid followers.
