Marody with 7 in the same 2 Might just be another Lander, but I like having players like him "in the chamber" as you never know how or when a player will pop-off after a summer of specialized training. You can't teach scoring/playmaking instinct as easily as you can teach other facets of the game.

You need a RH D. No point bumping Nurse to bottom pairing to add a very comparable player to your roster while dumping a 1st. Target Hamilton instead who brings a massive improvement to your pp. That is the only area McDavid doesn't appear #1 in the world, as its mostly zone posession and he rely's less on his speed (tho he is still a runaway for best player I have ever watched!!!).

Currie also has 5 points in his last two games....not saying he is a star in the making but we have some guys playing good hockey right now and the best part is they aren’t being bothered with being called up

I like Hamilton the player but the fact that he gets moved every season is a red flag....not sure if it’s worth the risk....last thing we need is ANOTHER bad trade

yea its not perfect, it get it. EDM might have to make another move to be cap compliant (maybe trade Lucic by retaining some salary if someone bites). But I feel the pieces make sense.
I think Zaitsev will do better there if used in an offensive role than the defensive role Babcock has him in here (with Gardiner).

I wouldn’t be against Nylander at all I think he will turn it around....I do however think that Zaitsev wouldn’t be a good add to our team....I wouldn’t be against Kapanen either.....just one mans opinion tho
