Wouldn't be interested in this game if Demko wasn't gonna be in net

Hopefully the “defence” somewhat shows up tonight. Would hate to see Demko get shelled at the beginning of his new era.

Demko with more career shutouts than Markstrom by the end of the season?

I'm betting on yes.

Well Linden was apparently fired because he wanted a slower rebuild so if that's true then yeah, I think that's a long shot. Especially with how EP has lit the league on fire.

They'll likely want to make a splash in free agency and push for the playoffs next season.

Can they afford Panarin and Karlsson with Sutter, beagle, Ericsson and rousell in the lineup? If they could land those two players they'd be a contender for at least 5 years.

No reason why they shouldn't.

Nope. I'm only at 21 players and already over the cap, only signed Edler and Boeser. Hughes would come in on an ELC and would need a 13th forward. Gave Panerin $9.5, Karlsson $11.25m, Boeser $5.5m and Edler $4.5m

Panerin Pettersson Boeser
Baertschi Horvat Virtanen
Roussel Beagle Sutter
Eriksson Gaudette Schaller
?
Edler Karlsson
Hughes Tanev
Juolevi Gudbranson
Stecher
Biega

Markstrom
Demko

Not including Hughes this is almost $81m

Freaking Benning, the 7th round pick he got for MDZ isn't until 2020!

I'm changing my prediction, now that I know Demko is in goal.

4-2 Canucks. Horvat with a double.

This is like a guessing game of which Jeklyl/Hyde
Buffalo/Canucks team will show/no show.

Battle for the Calder. I think they both run into each other and get injured

Butt seriously, good to see Pettersson back.

Total goaltending battle for the win. Good team to start Demko off on tho.
