Yes, by a wide margin. Kings a distant second. Avs and Sens in a fight for third.

Talk about bad...They're 2-8-2 in their last 10 games. They've managed to find a way to lose two games they haven't even played yet.

Yeah, they've quit on Carlyle. I can't see them beating anyone on this road trip. Maybe Ottawa, but they couldn't beat them at the Ponda, so that's probably wishful thinking. That would leave them heading home with another huge losing streak, except during this run they aren't even getting the loser point. Hopefully, the Samueli's will realize that they need to make room for the kids in San Diego and re-tool this team away from Getzlaf-Perry-Kesler. It's sooo bad right now, I think the fan base would accept a down year next year knowing the team would be better in the long run. Maybe they could even add Jack Hughes to the mix!

Any word on Gibson?

Was kept in the game after the 5 or 6th goal then next play smothered the puck while nobody was around him and left the game. Looked like a man that gave up.

Welcome to the salary cap NHL. The 3 last Western Cup winners are now amongst the worst teams in the league. F’ Bettman!

I get kind of angry when I hear that players have quit on a coach. That means that they're quitting on the fans who pay their salaries. Haven't been to a Ducks game this year (used to be a mini-plan holder) and not sure I want to until the team starts trying. This team should be so much better than this. I'm okay if they lose when they are at least trying to be competitive. But this is ridiculous. I have much better things to do with my time and my money that watch this bunch of losers.

In the case of LA it's just aging, and Anaheim it's a little bit of that mixed with Randy. Chicago could have probably spent their way to greatness for a few more seasons.

We can blame the cap, but with a few very noteable exceptions, I'm under the impression that most teams wouldn't be in a position to go that far over it if they could? The Ducks have a great fanbase for example, but the smallest lower bowl in the league, and I've been led to believe they rely heavily on gate revenue?

Do most fans want a league where Toronto, Montreal, NYR, Boston, and maybe Vancouver outspend everyone again?

Bad doesn’t even start the conversation....
Horrid is pretty apt right now.

Please keep all the kids in San Diego away from Carlyle...

Hire Sheldon Keefe away from the Marlins w/ 5x5 contract and be done with it.

Why "next year." This is our down year, and if the hockey gods smile down on us we'll land Hughes at this years draft. I would expect next year to be a much better year with Carlyle and his staff gone.

Dallas Eakins will be the coach next year. He deserves another chance. The Gulls are playing well, and he'll have coached the kids that will probably get a call up next year.

Because the Ducks aren't like Pittsburgh that already had skill in their line-up and needed the injection of youth. The Ducks skill players are in San Diego and I believe it might be a little while before they get the hang of the NHL. I hope I'm wrong!

I agree, the cap is doing what it's intended to do, make most teams competitive. If there was no cap the NHL would be the same as baseball, there would always be the rich teams and the rest would hope to catch lightning in a bottle.

Chicago would be in the mix as well. I’d like to see some type of CAP discount (10-25%) for teams resigning their own players.

Yes. They don't even look like they belong in the NHL. The passing is worse than most rec leagues. The Ducks have some good pieces, but they aren't working together at all. I would be surprised if they win more than 7 games the rest of the season. It's ugly. Hopefully, they can get something decent for Silfverberg, because I wouldn't sign here if I was him, and I freakin' live here.
