Great idea. They should do a video just to give the fans a good chance to lose their minds. |

That would be a thing of beauty. The whole tribute video could be when Kovy signed his deal and Kovy and Vanderbeek were smiling and Lou was scowling. |

Cory is gonna get traded.
Blackwood has played better than KK and Cory.
Blackwood wont spend the duration of Cory's contract in AHL.
Blackwood wont be a backup to Cory and not play in his most vital learning years.
Cory said in his practice interview, that hes a hockey player and just wants to play anywhere. He said that when talking about binghamton but I have a feeling he had convos with Shero about waiving his no trade.
His call up is to showcase to other teams that he can play. |

disagree - Cory will not get traded - but look for KK to be moved by deadline. |

Nobody wants Cory Schneider in his current state. Nobody. |

I can't really see anyone trading for KK (with his .898 save% and 3.13 GAA) but who knows.... But I do think he's the odd man out. I'm expecting Blackwood to be backing up Schneider next year. |

If KK is traded it will be for a very low draft pick |

We gonna ignore the fact that gabriel is in the lineup? Maybe a reward for hard work in bing? I'd like to see Quenneville again instead. |

You don't think his 0-5-1 stint in the Bing with a 4.66 GAA and .852 Save% doesn't have people excited to pick up his $6M cap hit??? I think your just a jaded Ranger fan. |

They're just bringing in somebody to punch Kovy in the head.
I'm kidding, but it would be pretty unbelievable if that poop went down. |

This poop was six years ago. I was shocked when Kovy left but in the long run it was good for us to not have to deal with all of that contract bullpoop. |

If kovy was still a devil he would have the highest cap of all devils higher than Cory or Hall..thank him for leaving and ridding the devils of that albatross contract! |

If Carter does miss tonight, it's likely that Amadio will slot in at 2C and Thompson will go at 4C. Thompson missed the first two games of the road trip because he was recovering from the flu. They were going to give him a few practice days to get back up to speed, but if Carter's out, he's going in. |

Totally agree. I'm not mad. I liked Kovy but that contract was horrific. What are we in year 9 of 15? I saw him last night against the Rangers and he's clearly lost a step. |

the guy can still shoot like nobody else but his skating is not all there for sure. Being stuck with that until 42 was a nightmare. If it was under how the current CBA is and we'd be in year 7 or 8, no problem here. |

Yep, when he signed it the contract was great. When he retired before the contract ended we would have been off the hook. Current CBA would have been a nightmare for years. As it is we have $250k in dead space for the next like 20 years. Had he of played like 5 years of that deal then retired we’d be screwed. |

Jeff Carter is officially out tonight. Thompson will take his spot. Campbell is starting tonight since Quick started last night against the Rangers. |
