This is a good year to tank. Just make sure you keep Gibson from losing his marbles and lose for Hughes.

You guys just need to trade everything and start over..

Maybe keep Gibson, Rakell and a few other younger players, but this team needs a culture change badly.

keep gibson montour manson lindholm and rakell + a few good prospects / young players (kase etc).
lose carlyle.
draft well.
make a few trades (silfverberg, fowler etc).
in 2021 ducks can be competitive again.

You would think, but they’ve been outscored 19-5 the last 3 games and he’s still employed, so who knows?

I think at this point, a playoff push is realistically out of the cards. GMBM will likely keep RC through the end of the year. As long as Gibson, Rakell, and our young D core are able to stay healthy and Kase gets better, this season will be like the 2011-12 season that landed us Hampus. We are only the 6th worst team in the league becuase of loser points and other teams having games in hand. We should realistically be in the bottom 3 teams of the league right now.

This season is effectively done. Even for a team that has historically been unbeatable in the second half of the season, there is too much ground to make up in the room to make that kind of push. And doing so would only hurt our draft position.

And yet Carlyle and Murray still have jobs. The Samueli's need to seriously get involved and give the fans some answers on what the hell is going on or contemplate selling the team to owners who want to put a winner on the ice. Their is absolutely no way Carlyle should still have a job and the fact that Murray hasn't canned him yet is a big FU to the fan base.

What is it? 23-5 in the last 4 games? Don't bring up Dallas Eakins until next year, SD is buzzing right now.

You do realize the Ducks have been quite successful making the postseason under Murray (forget this year). To want him fired because we suck this year is shortsighted I think. Carlyle will be gone at seasons end. So will the coaches (except goalie coach). The team is a budget team (yet still spending to the cap), operating under certain restrictions implemented when they became a franchise in 1993. Team lost 2 million last year. This year (with the playoffs out of the question) the losses will be greater.

No GM is perfect, and some moves I question, but the team has been a consistent playoff participant, and there's some exciting kids in the minors. People need to relax.

Yes we've been a consistent playoff performer and I do respect and value that, lots of teams haven't. And although I've been critical of BM's moves and lack of communication overall he's done quality work.

This last stretch however demands action - When the team is not even competitive in multiple consecutive games you need to do something and firing the coach- even if you bring in the beer vendor to run things for the rest of the season - at least recognizes the fact the team has very obviously to everyone it seems, except Murray Quit on RC.... and become embarrassing to watch - and the franchise goalie is in open revolt against RC ...

Out of all of the teams in the hunt in the west to make the playoffs, I have this weird feeling that Anaheim makes it. Mostly because everybody has written them off, yet they're still close. It's the year of the comeback!

Can your poopty team stop losing and make a push for the playoffs?

Don’t want this poop organization getting a top 10 pick. LOL

Sorry, can't see that happening, this losing sh!t is in their heads now. It's similar to the Kings earlier in the season, no matter what they do it's the wrong decision. I think they'll be battling Ottawa for the Jack Hughes sweepstakes.
