Can’t make a big deal of this loss. They didn’t lose in regulation. They didn’t lose in OT. They gained a very valuable point. The plan is the same. Got to go out and win next game against Anaheim.

Blow this game off like a dandelion puff in the wind. As evident in the game last night, the difference between winning and losing is a puck width or tenths of seconds. Be better on details but move on.

Let’s go Flyers!

Hey Bill

Is Stolarz health history too risky to trust next season? Do they sign a vet goalie in your opinion?

I was only able to watch the third period but one thing that really stood out until the very end was that the Flyers were not getting to the net. Instead opting to take shots from the perimeter.

When they finally got in close Voracek was able to pot one.

Not Bill, but..........

Absolutely, and yes.

I see them going in to the season with Hart and Stolarz, but you absolutely have to have a veteran option just in case down in Lehigh.

Badly outplayed by a weaker team....

Jake needs to just shoot. So many opportunities to score lost because he tried to make one too many moves.

Stolarz did not look good in the shootout IMO

I am not a huge Jake fan but he did shoot. He hit the post. Also the game tying goal was a shot. Again I am not a huge fan of his but he wasn't the problem.

I thought Gostisbehere struggled. He kind of seemed very roverish last night and I think that cost them on the 2nd LA goal.

One thing is for sure, they have two goaltenders that can bail them out and win a game for them (or at least get them to OT). I hope that Stolarz can remain healthy for the rest of the season.

They were talking last night in the broadcast about Elliott being close to coming back, and even perhaps playing next week. Speculation that they are showcasing him? It would be nice to get something for him before he walks.

Ghost is struggling but I wouldn’t pin the 2nd goal on him so much. 1st one definitely but the 2nd one Vorobyev needed to read the situation better. Ghost pinched. It’s not always going to work out. He needed to recognize that he had to turn into the dman there. He didn’t recognize he needed to retreat

I don't know what it is but Stolarz makes me nervous. Just something about the way he plays. I think he struggles with pucks up high, which is where everyone is going to shoot because he covers the bottom of the net so well. I feel like there were 4-5 chances for LA that beat Stolarz but just didn't go in. This could be just because I've been watching Hart lately and he just seems like another plain of existence.

There is nothing in Stolarz game that should make anyone nervous. Where did Voracek's game tying goal go in at against Quick? Where at the net did Konecny's shot hit the post at in OT against Quick? Other posts the Flyers hit?

He shot a few times but there were a bunch of times where he was in a great scoring chance and tried to make an extra move and was either driven wide of had the puck taken from him. Jake has been one of our best players of late. He has gotten bit better at shooting the puck but he still needs to shoot more

His play in the shootout made me nervous, he was beat on almost every shot we got lucky with a couple missed shots

I've been a bit critical of Jake, but I thought that his game was pretty good last night. Jake does turn the puck over sometimes, but I guess you can't make an omlette without cracking a few eggs.

Who cares it's a team game & shootouts aren't in the playoffs for a reason, because they are stupid. Stolarz played great. People need to quit whining and comparing him to Harts play and just be happy that we finally have not one but TWO very good goalies. When is the last time we could say that?

Well, maybe nothing in his game makes you nervous, but other people may feel differently. I for one didn't have a warm fuzzy watching him in the shootout either.

I guess we should have kept Weal just for shootouts.

I feel like this is the problem with this team, in general.

I have zero interest in seeing Brian Elliot play for this team after the trade deadline.

He did, needs some duct tape...or elastic like kids have for mittens

On another note, Drew Doughty is an a## for the hand motions he made on the bench after his team scored a goal... he deserved something more than chirping for that

I actually thought Stolarz looked calm and big in the net all night.

I am a little worried about what happens when Elliott is healthy. I wold like to see the Flyers ride the two young goalies for the year and see if it can be an option for next year.

With so many teams needing back up goalies they could show case Elliott in hopes for a possible trade I guess. With Stolarz play I am not a 100% sure he will get through waivers this time.

I feel like Jake should shoot more. He registered 3 shots on goal but there are times (not necessarily last night) where he creates space but then passes. He needs to be selfish. He has a good shot. Use it.

Stolie is not built for shootouts.

Ghost is in a horrible stretch right now. Maybe that "bruise" is still bothering him. Maybe he's thinking about the trade deadline.

I don't want to take all the credit but it seems like every time I start in on Coots, he proves me wrong. Of course, he's been on fire for a little while so it was bound to happen. I like where he is in the line-up. Like his line.

Big bounce back win coming on Saturday. I feel last night was a point squandered.

I wasn't talking about Quick or the Flyers forwards. I'm not saying it's rational, but something about Stolarz makes me nervous, like I'm waiting for him to get exposed.
