I wouldn't make that deal. I personally have no interest in garnering prospects/picks if LD is on the table. See the Pesce/Teuvo deal claim.

The defence on this team is the least of my concerns at the moment.....the biggest issue with this team is they can’t score....so sure I can understand dangling Drai but if goals are hard to come by as is then why are we trading a young player who is going to score 40 and get 100 points? It really doesn’t make much sense to me....the focus should be in building our forward lines so maybe we don’t have to rely on one line to get it done all the time

Previous one. I responded to a response bone brought up at the beginning of this forums thread. But the idea was mentioned in the last blog.

It was LD/Talbot/Pulj for Teuvo/Pesce. I personally would do that any day of the week. Even Bingo said it was "very tempting," which I take it that the value is fair for both sides considering what is at stake in all metrics.

It is very tempting. However I'm finding myself wanting something a little more, something like Maenalanen and Foegele.

Numbers might get better if he is indeed on the top line

You might get a 3rd for Kassian. Weren't Manning and Pertovich supposed to get waived by now?

Sekera has one game left on his conditioning stint then after that then that’s when it will probably happen

You're right, it's almost as if the team needs some skilled snipers on the wing. I wonder if New Jersey would trade Hall for Larson and a first? Probably not.

Careful not to use the word high and kassian in the same sentence.

move them for whatever you can get... we dont need the extra defense and Kassian can be replaced for half that cost.

Won’t have to....he will choose to not resign then come home to Edmonton....if we are lucky we will get him for 67 games a year before an injury strikes

Keith Gretzky should be doing three things....

1) Puljujarvi and Yamamoto both to Bakersfield.

2) Move Petrovic, Manning and Kassian for picks.

3) See if Chiasson is willing to sign an extension (two years tops and not for crazy money). If not then you move him at the deadline.

Yamamoto has been playing there for a bit and Puju should have been sent down ages ago

I can see all 3 getting moved

Reports have it that he likes Edmonton so he seems to be willing but as you said I wouldn’t give him too much money or years but then again I would test the trade market and see what I could get for him....his history would suggest he won’t produce at the same level next season

It'll likely occur about 2 weeks after Pettersson's balls drop.
