Of course they're preferable. They seriously lack talent and are overachieving. |

When Max Domi is your stud #1 C, I want to face that team. Our 3rd line C is as good or better |

There is never any guarantee when it comes to the postseason, but the Canadiens appear to be a more favorable matchup for Toronto than Boston. Montreal is speedy, plays well defensively, love to run the goalie, has some feistiness and a great goaltender in Price.

They have a great goalie and play well as a team. The marginal gooning (making sure star players are hit as hard as possible by marginal NHL ers, like Benn on Nylander - without a penalty call) could make things interesting. Trading for Ferland would help shore up the LW position and give the Leafs a little more ability to deliver a payback hit once in a while. Montreal had no answer when 3 on 3 started. They were (frank)ed as soon as the penalty in OT was over. |

Are you sure it's not more about the fact we like him and would miss him...?
Trade away if it makes the team better and they don't screw themselves for the future.
12 more Leaf wins should solidify a playoff spot..woot! |

He might score 20 this year, over age rookie with decent talent level. Good time to trade him for sure. We got nothiing for Leivo, might as well make hay.

Habs are 100% overachieving.
They literally have (frank) all and Price.
Gotta give Julien credit for getting them to play like they are but without depth it won’t last long.
Habs will be lucky to make the playoffs. |

lol - as much as I know the improbability, but I would love to see a Bruins/Habs first round. Bruins however, probably not so much - which makes me a little giddy. Then I get to cheer for Price.

Wasn't expecting much from the Habs this year. Really happy with the season even though I would've liked another high pick.
So you can give me any bullpoop stat, they still give themselves a chance to win almost every game. Always exciting to watch. |

Habs will make the playoffs, I can't see them staying ahead of the Bruins though. Price playing the way he is though makes it a possibility. If Rask sh!ts the bed it could happen.

I agree that they are overachieving but they have they do have some talent. Put Gallagher and Weber on the Leafs and I think they are true contenders.
Domi and Drouin are OK pieces, probably not as good long term as they have been. Kotkaniemi looks like the real deal... reminds me a bit of Koivu.
