Signing Tavares on one hand, losing Leivo for “nothing” on the other.

Oh you can’t tell me Austin has been good last couple games?

Christ, if you think Matthews has been bad the last couple games, what do you think of Marner?

That seems to be consensus among pundits?

The same pundits who said he was looking for North of 8mil a season?

Expensive, but still signed. And he can be game breaking good at times. At times.

I gotta try that.

You listen on AM radio?

- gravyface

I got the Centre Ice package. So I get literally every game. When the channel doesn't have a game on it plays the Leafs radio broadcast.

Unfortunately Bonsie didn't call the game tonight. He's sick or something. Henny called the game. He ain't very good but it's not his job. Still better than the (frank) heads, though.

He hasn't been his best for sure, but 5 points in his last 7 games, 4 goals.

For a slump, I'll take that.

Dubas accomplishment so far

Sign Tavares
Sign Nylander at above market value
Sign AM at market value
Trade for Muzzin

Dubas mistake

Send McBackup away
Keep Sparks instead
Give Leivo away

Overall, not too bad but geez that latest signing could put in more effort.

- gamerdoc

he could earn some more brownie points if he can get drake to be the teams brand ambassador and number 1 fan

no worries Bird and I have back and forths every game... except when Matthews does something.

So, it is most games these days.

He's just pushing my buttons

Matthews was -2 with no points in yet another big game last night, and nothing again tonight.

Marner made a highlight-reel pass to set up Tavares against Montreal for the OT goal.

I know you won't take it seriously, but the difference between the two is that Marner is ALWAYS noticable when he is on the ice. I don't see Matthews generating much of anything and way too many fly-bys at both ends.

Thats how seasons go. Not every good player is good every game. The leafs are like 4-1 over they spam. And just lost while getting 55 shots.

I guess if you want to be that negative. Have at it.

No offense but if that’s your answer then YOU are the clueless one. I mean really are you kidding me! The leafs played last night, the ice was bad,the refs suck,(even though you had 25 power play shots).the rangers are going nowhere the big picture for the leafs is goaltending and defense in the playoffs! I’d be more worried about that if I were you bruh.looks to me like a first round beat down for the leafs

In Matthews' defence, the best player he's played with this season is Kapanen (and then no one on the other wing) Marner gets Snakes to play with.

We need to stop going after our best players and concentrate on the poope like Gardiner, Marincin and Carter Ashton
