It's literally impossible for the Leafs to outplay the Rangers anymore than they just did.

And the Leafs have a goalie that's gonna be nominated for the (frank)ing Veznia. But, yeah, goaltending is an issue for them.

Vezina is for the regular season doink! Let’s see how he does in the playoffs

Why does every single nhl player start every single interview with "I mean ah..."

You haven't said frank all yet, so what are you trying to clarify...?

- Woderwick

We are just going to send the puck deeeep, one game at the time, no easy teams, we can see the writing on the wall, just looking for some gel and chemistry, we can not feel sorry for us self,

Something funny?

12 points in 16 games since Jan 1, -10 in that stretch.

So roughly 60 point and -50 pace in that stretch.

In the blowout against Vancouver, he had 3 points and was +3

If you take away that ONE game he is roughly on pace for 48 points and -67 (or (thereabouts)

but, yeah, it is my imagination that he is not playing as well as he was and the total disappearing act in last year's playoffs was all my imagination also.

It didn't take long for a lot of this fanbase to sour on the best player this franchise have drafted since Sundin.

Less than 3 years to be exact. Fun times. When you compound this with the Leivo debacle, it makes you wonder if this management know what they're doing

- walshyleafsfan

It was telling no one cheered when he was introduced on ice before the game the very next day he signed the big contract.

People are sour he didn’t give any home town discount. If he signed for 8 years for the same money, or if signed for $10M at 5, I think people would be more patient.

I don't know how people can ignore the numbers since he got hit by Kronwall. I don't know how people give him a free pass for disappearing when the going got tough against Boston.

Marner was the Leafs smallest, and best, player in that series.

Just watch him play. Something is up with Matthews. Or go look at the stats sheets in October and first part of December. There is a huge difference in his play.

Sundin was my second fave Leaf of all time... now there is a guy who had NOTHING around him

He always stood out on the ice, even if his team blowed balls

Sh!t happens. A nobody second string goalie played the game of his life, we'll survive. Too bad Fart the messenger boy, I mean King Henrik was on the shelf tonight, it might have been more fun to watch him blow a gasket.
