Ok. Looks like things just got real as far as the season being over. Really, Bob has no coaching experience. So I think he really just wants to look at the team close up. Maybe talk to the players in a less formal place. The season in my mind has been done since we traded cogliano. But it really matters to the season ticket holders and sponsors. So a clear message has been sent. I mean Bob's never really gonna admit defeat. But firing Randy Carlyle and putting himself in charge pretty much shows what he thinking. And he's thinking about next year.

Oh yeah. But the league will find a way to stop that. Still the top 5 players in this draft are all supposed to be good. And that combined with our current prospects could make this the shortest rebuild in history of the NHL. 2 years I'm guessing. From going from missing the playoffs to Qualifying again. Of course Bob will probably let who ever we draft spend another year in juniors. Even if it turns out to be Hughs.
