Man panhandling is making a serious comeback. There are on what seems like every intersection trying to get money. It's more reason to look at my phone and be one of those guys we are complaining about. - 2sticks1puck
That was also probably 12 years ago, FYI
I had some guy walk up to my driver's side window Friday and knock on it asking for money when I had just parked and was trying to get out of the car. He was so intent on asking for something that he couldn't wait 2.5 seconds for me to get out and instead tried to speak to me through a piece of glass |

Per Mckenzie, Lafreniere almsot pulled a Matthews and considered playing in Switzerland next year. He'll remain with Rimouski. |

Don't feel so bad, I graduated from college 13 years ago, and it's not like I neatly did it in 4 years. It's been a couple years since I've been approached at a gas station. The whole gas station/ stand in front of the wawa thing was like a 5 years ago thing. I actually know someone who is a panhandler now. Not well. He told my one friend that he makes 1-200 a day doing it. No wonder why these guys have no incentive to quit. - 2sticks1puck
Yeah it's pretty rare anyone gets a dime from me. One guy out in LA did because he was sitting on the strand in Venice Beach with a pilot hat on and a sign that said "Private jet out of gas, need money for jet fuel". I think I gave him $20
Otherwise, I've started just waving my hand and saying "No thanks, I'm not interested" like they're trying to sell me something |

Latest from Wisconsin on freshman D K'Andre Miller (NYR), after a hard crash into the boards Saturday, is that he is out this week, dealing with soreness. Due to be reevaluated later today. Sounds like it's not as serious as it looked like it could be Saturday night.

In not getting up off the ice for sometime, I hope that injury suffered last night by Rangers prospect, K'Andre Miller is not as serious as what I suspect it could be by the looks of his hard fall into the boards in the video.
My suspicion is that it could be as bad as one to multi torn ligaments in his knee, including either one or any in combo, of his ACL, PCL, MCL, or Meniscus. The best news to hope for is that he only sprained one or more of the above ligaments, without any tears at all.
If any multi ligaments are torn which would require surgery, including in key his ACL for one, he would be sidelined for likely at least 8 months in being completely off the ice. It could also then limit the kid's future success with his game. - RangerSaver

I do. I wanna see the link between high rate of speed impact collisions, the patellar tendon and the ligaments of the Knee. |
