I would take Stevie Wonder if he could make a big save now and then. Jones is the weak link. Very soft on high shot over his blocker side and glove hand, he’s always on his knees before the shooter makes a move. Too bad he’s got a long term contract |

Haley is trusted by DeBoer to play 4th line heavy minutes. Not as good as Fehr but he'll hold his own against Vegas 4th line |

haley is a good 4th liner better then charteir and adds a physical element to the 4th line. You just poop on anyone who drops the gloves. |

I'd rather have Haley in the box for fighting than Kane...& it'll keep teams from taking liberties... |

If CBJ would take Jones for Bob (gives them long term stability if they think he will rebound) would you do it?
Straight up deal, we are left to figure out the goalie situation going forward after the year.. |

The Sharks have Karlsson and Burns on the right side almost the entire game. You can blame it on Jones if you want. But having guys who are basically forwards playing defense isn't much help. When it was just Burns, it was manageable. Now it's a disaster. You should have seen this coming, no matter how much national announcers want to pump Karlsson's defensive tires.
BTW, if you can really get Miller for a mid-round pick, your GM should be fired for not pulling the trigger. He is an upgrade. |

There's definitely some truth to the fact that Burns and Karlsson can often create almost as many scoring chances against as they do for the Sharks. But there were a LOT of games where goals were fluttering in with Vlassic and Braun on the ice. It's almost a guarantee goal for any player on a breakaway against Jones.
