Carry over from last thread:

Dzingel for a 1st is a waste. Don't need to throw another first rounder away for a rental. Simple as that. Couple of minor moves maybe for depth, but Sweeney doesn't need a blockbuster this year.

What if he signed Dzingle?
(He's steadily improved each of his years in the NHL).
I think he'd be worth a late 1st then.
He's a good player, and at only 26, fits in real nice.

He is an interesting player, no doubt there. Wouldn't mind having him for sure. But for a first rounder? Even if it is a late one it still seems high for an uncertainty of future commitment. Guys like that, who sell high generally test free agency and cash in huge.

Coyle is a beast on the puck and can slot into the top 6 if necessary. Donato hasn’t impressed me in his limited NHL action, so glad to see the Wild get worse with this move. Looking forward to Leafs vs Bruins in Round 1

Wild get better with Donato, 2 points in his debut... more than Coyle has contributed in his last several games. You’re an idiot

Ryan Spooner had a similar game after his first game being traded from the Bruins... how's that worked out after? Pretty sure it was a won-win trade for both teams. It happens.

Either way, Coyle needed to go, great guy, way too inconsistent. Good luck

ok bud. but you're right, after 2 points in his first game it's clear that MN won the trade.

you're taking double wrist surgery into consideration right? but then again you actually send Eklund money so probably not.

Have to give up something to get something. The Bruins value solid play in all areas over just the ability to score. Which is a result of lack of secondary scoring right now. It showed with Vatrano and now with Donato. They have a nose for the net and not much more.

Donato did have some decent games this year but found himself sent back down afterwards.

Trade helps both teams.

Don’t read much do you?... or maybe just don’t know how? Please show me where I claimed who won the trade... I was simply refuting the opinion that the trade made the Wild a worse team. Thanks for arguing though! Top notch!

So what are we realistically thinking for lines? If there’s no other moves I’m thinking they go

Marchy Bergy Heinen
DeBrusk Krejci Pasta
Cehlarik Coyle Backes
Kuraly Acciari Wagner

Honestly, i would hate to start Charlie here with an anchor on his line. Let him play the wing with Krejci and Debrusk to get started.

Well, I don't know if this Simmonds thing is a real target or Not, but.....I.m not sure giving up a 1st and a prospect is smart. Would he Fit YES perfect with Krejci and Debrusk, just he seems like a true Rental, losing Spooner last year was not a biggie But the 1st seemed to bother Sweeney, so I think unless there is a Panarin on the other end he won't do it. will Simmonds help, YES but not that much IMO, I mean it will make it more exciting adding a physical player but won't translate into that much. idk, tough situation this year, No Way you can give up Debrusk, they may just sit tight ??

What you guys think ?
Who is worth a 1st and high end prospect (Vaak, Senys)
