Bennng has so much money tied up in bottom level/performance players, I'm not sure how he's gonna clean this up but it'll be interesting.

Eriksson - 6 million
Sutter - 4.4 million
Spooner - 3.1 million
Pearson - 3.75 million
Beagle - 3 million
Baertschi - 3.35 million
Schaller - 1.9 million

That's around 25 million dollars.

Spooner/Pearson/Schaller are only one more year, no big deal. I think Benning will try and get Boeser on a bridge deal so that Pettersson is the first guy to sign the "big deal", setting the baseline for $ on the team.

But to your point, if they plan on trying to land a big UFA this off season, they will be in trouble.
