Although SJ and the Flames are loaded both up front and D wise ... For me it’s Vegas ... Stone / Patches / Stastny are real players and great gets. But it’s in net that pushes Knights ahead ... Smith and Jones Just aren’t going to get it done. Even Rittich doesn’t push Flames ahead.
The flower is tested and better all 4 options for SJ and Cal.

Sharks gonna flail in epic fashion in the 1st round.. and i'm a Sharks fan.

It's gonna be brutal, too.

The flower falls apart in the playoffs when he gets overplayed in the regular season, wouldn't be surprised if we see the MAF that can't stop a beach ball at some point. The Sharks (other than their trip to the SC final) have never been a good playoff team even though they've been cup "contenders" for the past decade. If their goaltending doesn't get hot I could see them going down in the first round.

Smith and/or Rittich are just as likely to get hot in the playoffs as any of the other goalies in the Pacific. I feel pretty good about the Flames' chances this year, but there's a reason we play the games--anything can happen once the playoffs start.

If that’s what you think, you’re hardly a Sharks fan...

What? Too soon?

Sharks seem most well-rounded outside the crease. They should get by the first round if they can get NHL average goaltending.

Those goalies have us in 1st in the west, when Smith is on he can be one of the best in the game. Don't really give a poop about a Flyer fans opinion of playoff goaltending
