Really glad they have been patient with Carlo's development. He has made some great strides in his own zone and is slowly gaining confidence in the O zone. It is nice to see the young D men start to take a bigger role.

Think this is big Z's last year? Maybe one more?

If they win I think Big Z is done. If they don't, I'd expect he gives it one more crack, but who the hell knows

Johansson with a lung contusion and no concussion. He'll be re-evaluated in a week. That's good news

Glad to hear Johansson's injury wasn't a shoulder separation or worse a concussion... He looks like a nice fit next to Krejci.

Carlo, please let's all just stop...

Have to respect Backes. He has lost a step but rather than slug on through and take the paycheck, he is willing to put his body on the line to make sure he contributes in any way possible.

He shows constantly how he is a leader and a great team first guy.

The first period against Carolina was rather infuriating. Ferland just owns the Bruins in the first period at home yet. First keep your head up Johansson! It was a great hit and Ferland is a tough cookie. Then of all people, Backes, challenges Ferland and looks ridiculous getting owned immediately.

He's been the most consistent dman all season. Not sure what that was about.

Well no McQuaid or Randell anymore, Millers injured and Chara needs to be on the ice. All we have left for guys to drop em immediately without hesitation is Backes.

It seems Jack Edwards doesn't know the very basic rule for batting pucks isn't that the puck has to be below the crossbar but that it has be below the player's shoulder.

Seems you don't know the rule when it results in a goal....

I will say that I'm pretty confident no one here has the skill set to actually call a game and keep pace. I'm not a fan of Edwards I will at least credit the skill to call a game play by play. If you're looking to him o play by play as a source of truth you're an idiot.

Also you're an Oilers fan still supporting that wretched owner and his debacle of a franchise. A (frank)ing top 10 pick vampire. Seems to me you're the biggest idiot in this room.
