Jaskin should be playing over Boyd, and Djoos over Orpik. With them two in over the others, I think the Caps ice their best lineup.

Would like to see Hagelin with Kuznetsov.

Come on Caps. We're rooting for you. Devils need to stay as close to Ottawa in the standings as possible. The future is on the line dammit!

14 games left, I have no doubt OVI can get from 46 to 50 goals. I think if he pushes he could get 55 or more

Some people will say he'd be selfish to push for goals like that. However, when it comes to the Caps, the team and their streaks live and die with OVI. If he's scoring the team is winning and you want to be that way heading into the playoffs.

Nothing against Holtby, who is awesome and very deserving of recognition for his accomplishments, but the whole "fastest to 250 wins" bit needs at least three really huge asterisks:

1) Wins are poor measure of goalie ability.

2) Almost one tenth of his wins (23) are by shootout, which were not available to goalies pre-2005.

3) I didn't bother to calculate / look up how many of his wins came in OT, but regular season OT didn't even start until 1983 (and tended to be very defensive and low scoring until the OTL point was added in 1999).

Dryden winning 250 of his first 381 (and only losing 51) really puts the dominance of those Montreal teams in context when you realize they were all regulation wins.
