speaking of Shattenkirk, that play he made leading up to the Motte goal where Lemieux got the BS major penalty had to be one of the worst passes I have ever seen.

Shatty literally just put it in front of his own net right onto the Vancouver guy's stick

I say buy this (frank)er out

the cap savings for next season is great (only 1.4 mil cap hit) and then shoots back up to 6 mil the following season, but that will give them sometime to get rid of Staal and Smith after next season to make of for it and spend wildly this summer if they want to.

Keep Brendan Smith and Marc Staal around one more year and buy out Shatty, that's what I'd do.

He gets worse every game. He'd the case where the advanced metrics people look at and say "See theydon't mean anything." Idk how puts those numbers up. He's bad.

Again, don't buy anyone out. What if Chytil breaks out next year? What is Georgie going to want? That doesn't even include the future implications after next season. If we have to pay money for our young guys and keep extra around for any supplemental pieces, we don't need any dead money on our cap. We do this right, our cap is golden in two years. All we have to do is not buy anyone out.

I mean, he dont give a (frank)

coming to the Rangers was a coming home party for him where he can make some big bucks be around his family all the time and for him to coast into retirement

I agree, he's just an older, more expensive Pionk at this point. I still think even having to add a mid round sweetner and possibly retain 50%, you can get rid of him without buying him out.

He's an overager playing on a line with Cozens. It's worth a shot, but I wouldn't expect much

Man, we were debating the hit, missed the assist for Shat.
Tom must be thrilled with the top line's production since Zucc left.
