a guy was saying, good teams generally play through the season at 85%. when they need to find an other gear at this time of the year, they still have energy to press the gas pedal, and finish the season at 100%, like WASH and PIT are doing now.

to the opposite, Habs have been playing at 100% since October 1st, they don't have any more energy. mission impossible like you say to find an other gear. they are now playing at 85% (and have been for a few weeks now), no more gas.

You'd have to believe that, at this time of the season, a offensive minded player like Drouin would be right there, on the 1st or 2nd line. Why put him on the 3rd line is beyond me.... Punish him? Come on. Its live or die situation and he's one of your best... suppose to be anyways.

this makes sense when you look at losses to Pittsburgh and San Jose. but they just lost 2 critical games to very mediocre rosters. there's definitely a softness to this team that has been exposed in the last month. this is as much of a fold job as it is a lack of personnel. playing Nate Thompson 27 minutes a night doesn't help.

That girl can hit a tennis ball.

this makes sense when you look at losses to Pittsburgh and San Jose. but they just lost 2 critical games to very mediocre rosters. there's definitely a softness to this team that has been exposed in the last month. this is as much of a fold job as it is a lack of personnel. playing Nate Thompson 27 minutes a night doesn't help.

Didn't watch the game Saturday night, but apparently they made Kotkaniemi warm the bench to make Jordan Weal play 20 minutes instead.

They are going back to everything they did wrong last season.

They still over performed this year. I'm happy with their season especially knowing a couple of good prospects will join them or Laval next year.
