Nope, they've had a good run and I'm happy with it. Build on the success they've had this season, move on to the next one. I prefer seeing them not make it than getting wrecked in the playoffs.

I started playing the guitar because of guys like Van Halen though.
It looked so easy...

I was really about to quit and then I discovered Pink Floyd. David Gilmour is not the fastest guitar player out there, but really inspired me to carry on. I'm glad I did.

Wouldn't a playoff appearance help the young players build on that success?

And I disagree with the second point as well lol! I'd much rather see them make it in and get swept by TB then come up just short... to each his own I suppose but for me, it's not even close

If they make it, Julien won't give young players more than 5 minutes of ice time per game or he'll replace them in the lineup by less talented veterans.
