Absolutely. And the Habs goal right after that was a prime example of what I was saying about Barzal's bad game last night. He made a really nice offensive play with the pass to Eberle, and then he was gliding back right after that because he was gassed. Then after the goal the camera shows him with his head hung low because he knew he knew he messed up with the giveaway and especially the backcheck.

That's what pissed me off last night so much that I argued they should replace Ladd (or some other wimp) with Johnston. It's not that Johnston is the answer to all their problems. But at least the other teams may think twice before taking liberties like that punk, Shaw, did last night. Plus, Ladd is contributing next to nothing else anyway.

I never thought I say this but I would rather see Fritz play over some of the vets on this team.

That was really bad and no excuse for Ladd not to do something. You cannot have this guy just floating out there until he is off the team.

Trotz was more pissed about the non response to the Shaw hit then their actual play so you’re most likely right. Obviously these guys stopped pulling for each other for some reason after the all star break minus the Toronto game. Send Ladd wherever as long as he’s not on the ice for the big club we’re past that point.
