Agree with your post, but have to say that Sergie seems like he is a defensive liability. I remember he was entirely sheltered from defensive zone starts last season -- that was for a reason (kinda like Butcher on my Devs). While he's been given more minutes this year, his inexperience shows. Come playoff time, that's the lone and consistent point of weakness I find on the Lightning.

Sloppy and slow first, gave up 3 goals in 90 seconds and that was the game. Need to clean that up as they beat themselves. Whats crazy is they had to chase the rest of the game and they dominated 2nd and 3rd and really it should have went into overtime at least.

The fourth Blues goal was caused by Barbashev straight slashing McDonaghs hands but wasn't called and then the off sides goal over turn that was 15-20 seconds before the goal was scored (need to rework this rule). Then I think Kuch hit two posts and shot over a wide open cage.

Move on and use this as a learning tool, 6 more to go before the playoffs. Cant wait.

It's interesting you mention overpassing.

In the first the game was pretty even minus the score. At that time the Blues were firing pucks and retrieving and opening up lanes bc of it.

In the second they forgot what was successful and started passing up shots for passing plays and consequently the tide changed way over to Tampa's game. Great game.

Both teams have great depth and ability. When you play teams like that they are going to create and get chances.

It seemed when either team fired shots and forechecked they created havoc. When they went for more passes not as much was there except on occassion.

Great comeback tonight. Stamkos is heating up at the right time, I just hope that he stays consistent in the playoffs. Loved seeing Marchand get a penalty at the end there too
