Travis Dermott is hopeful he can play Saturday in Ottawa. A big step forward for Jake Gardiner today. The optimal plan would be to get into a game or 2 next week but Jake wouldn’t commit to a time frame.

Leafs inability to lock down a playoff spot will see them on the golf course after the first round of the playoffs against Boston.

The Leafs are playing out the string. Trying not to get hurt and saving it for the playoffs. This is not the team that will face the Bruins.
It will be shock and awe in Beantown and all the haters will be sucking it.

What?

Were they supposed to be two separate sentences? How are they playing Boston in the 1st round due to their inability to lock down a playoff spot?

Had they locked up a playoff spot a week or so ago, could they have won?

I'm asking a lot of you, but I'm totally lost

Oh come on, Edmonton's not that bad.

I mean, it's got a mall...

...and...

...uh...

...a parking lot outside the mall...

And the weather's really nice for six weeks during the year...

i mean i get the sentiment, and most leaf fans are basically saying the same thing.

Leafs have been stumbling down the stretch and not instilling confidence ...so all predictions are a quick exit in rd 1

The pharmacies thoughtfully keep the isopropyl alcohol behind the counter so you don't accidentally drink it. But clearly the poster above got his hands on some.

People kiss Freddie's ass a lot, but he has such long, horrible stretches during each season that costs the team points
