Just gonna leave that here.

He allowed 4 weak goals. Not one of those goals go in if Vasilevskiy is in net.

Thanks!

I stand by this comment. I've never seen a goaltender flop like this since Hasek. Had he been positionally sound, none of those goals go in. How does he allow Lehkonen to bat that puck down? Vasilevskiy would have been much more aggressive on that play. The Domi goal is also brutal. A 5 year old would have stopped that puck.

Great blog! Well written. Your goalie had a hell of a game and can't wait to watch more Lightning games in the playoffs.

Nice to see Tampa has great depth at the goalie position! Great play by Pasquale, just did not have defensive support.

That was a team desperate to make the playoffs vs a team playing like it was preseason. The Point line started out great but after the first the team played with no energy. Felt bad for Eddie! The only line that was actually trying was our 4th line. Paquette hit everything that moved!

I wanted the wins record but I'm not disappointed. For a team that hasn't had anything to play for in over a month, they kept the hunger and energy a lot longer than I thought. Last night you could tell they just want the playoffs to start.

Congrats to Montreal. They wanted the game and took it (barely). I'd rather face them than Columbus but no one scares me.

Meaningless game for Tampa. I'm just glad there were no injuries.

Pasquale did OK, considering he was thrown to the wolves and was facing a shooting gallery from a desperate team fighting for the postseason lives.

Montreal deserved this one.

Move on. Game 83 won't get here soon enough.

Montreal had something to play for. Tampa did not. That sums up this game. Montreal skated and played to win.

Didnt see the game, havent seen the highlights.

Dont know why there has to be a discussion about excuses for a 4-2 away loss against a bubble team. You guys still remember that most teams usually lose about 30 games a year?
