I picked Columbus in 6. Columbus is Washington lite and bolts don’t like it when the checking gets tight.

I picked the Lightning in 6. The lightning play a fast game and Columbus won't be able to keep up it's a shame.

3 goals high stick side... is there any goalie who is strong high stick side? Thought that was the common weak spot.

I picked Columbus in 7. Tampa knows how to choke in the playoffs.

Amazing comeback, glad it gives something for the fans to talk about. Cbj showed some mental thoroughness and patience, highlight for me was the Jones goal and how they dismantled the Tampa defence (also Torts seemed dumbfounded and could believe it)

Real question is, how does Tampa respond going into game 2.

Cbus been playing meaningful games for over a month now... while Tampa has been on the glide for a while.

Once it got to 3/1 you could see the bolts start to grip the sticks a little tighter...

And how about everyone’s favorite D man getting completely walked by Savard and Anderson both...

Cbus gonna have to better in game 2 as Tampa will most likely really ramp it up.

Hedman looked absolutely lost out there, was fighting the puck, had his jockstrap handed to him on the 2nd goal, and was out there for the third when Anderson scored, and Tampa were trying too many risky passes in the third. I expect them to bounce back strong in game 2, but I also expect Columbus to win atleast one more game. Should be a good one!

Just from what I have read it seems people believe the CBJ didn't win the game so much as Tampa lost it, for about seventeen different reasons.

I just hope the CBJ plays well in the coming games, and Tampa makes so many mistakes they just let the CBJ win the series.

Omg all we heard here in Tampa was how “the lightning aren’t coasting”. All I seen was playing Kucherov 27 minutes in a game so he could get his cookies down the last few weeks and playing Erne his usual 9:18. Cooper...rolls eyes!

So watching the game the same could be said about TBL fast start. It was because of C-Bus mistakes. Truth of the matter is that mistakes provide opportunity and both teams got those opportunities. At different parts of the game both teams took advantage of those opportunities. Down the stretch the CBJ buried there opportunities and TBL didn't. Or put another way, Bob shut the door early in the second and late in the 3rd.

Turnovers were a HUGE part of this game early in favor of TBL and late in favor of CBJ. Limiting egregious TOs will be the story of game 2.
