It’s awesome. See how it turns out for them in the end but they are starting to look like regular season champs and playoff pretenders. Can’t get it done. That’s if they don’t battle back which they still can.

They've got to be in shock. The Jackets are a good team, but everyone expected the Bolts to take the series.

It's not looking good for them but you cannot count them out yet. Regarding the Isles, I love how Nelson, Bailey, Eberle, and Beau are playing with passion. The talent has always been there but they are now playing with real emotion.

2 games mean nothing Ses agree.

Every Islander is bringing it.

Komorov is driving Malkin nuts. Mayfield and Boychuck have been tough as hell.

It's great. I stopped Bailey bashing this year because I thought he played pretty well for the most part. He still does things that infuriate me on a pretty regular basis, but it's not like years past where he was just coasting around out there. Plus he has scored some huge game winning goals this season.

I can't wait for tomorrow. It would be amazing if the Isles could take one of the two games in Pittsburgh and get a strangle hold on the series.

Uncle Leo has played well. Nelson, Bailey, and Eberle jump out the most because of a lack of effort in the past. Pelech, Pulock, and Toews have really stood out as well.

I've still given Bailey a tough time but if he is going to play with this effort it's all good. It's great to finally have a coach that challenges players and who has a real system. You win both games at home and a split works out fine.

Oh yeah, on P,P, and Toews. The PO experience in total is what 3 games for Pulock,

There are no passengers on the bus. Everyone is busting their asses for each other.

Love it.

I also visited the Pens site and said hi to the Troll j.boyd919 that came over to say hi to all us Hipster (frank)ing pu$$y’s.

The hockey gods are punishing Stamkos for not ditching his team and signing with the Leafs.

It is so hard for me to pull for the Bruins but lesser of two evils I guess.

Komarov is chirping Malkin in Russian. Then he talks to Filppula in Finnish, so Malkin can't understand. He saves English for the refs....

They likely were.
For a long time yahoo kept the boards accessible though posting was disabled. We had a small group of really good participants. I was always surprised that more people didn't find their way to HB. Most were well aware of the site

- keaner17

Honestly, I was unfamiliar with HB until you posted on Yahoo that you were here. I had actually considered posting on HF instead, because it was a board I used to lurk on, even while posting on Yahoo. Then I got real busy with other stuff, and didn't post anywhere for awhile. I posted on the Islanders' short-lived chat room during games. They closed that down, because everyone was making fun of Cappy and the then-pathetic team. Finally ended up here....

Isles now have an 87% chance of winning the first round against the Pens and an 11% chance of winning the Cup.

I wouldn't put too much stock in that. It give the Isles a better chance of winning the cup than every team other than the Flames and the Bolts. Doesn't sound right to me.

So you think it was a mistake that I just bet my life's savings according to that chart. Dang!

Yeah, well the odds are skewed in favor of the teams that have won their first two games...........although it's interesting that the Bolts are now favored to lose their series, but are still the team most likely to win the Cup!

Not at all. You're going to win big. If you're smart you will take all your winnings and buy lottery tickets! Think of how rich you'll be!

The 1 game suspension on Kucherov is a joke. Should have had at least 3 for me.

Trotz has them targeting him because he has a short fuse and it’s easy to throw him off his game. Like targeting our defenseman when we played the caps that year. Does what he needs to do to win that’s all that matters. Capuano nor Weight would ever have enough sense to come up with any kind of strategy let alone make the playoffs with home ice this year to even have the opportunity too😂

Weight was an assistant but yeah as a head coach you’re correct. Doesn’t matter he wouldn’t have done anything right like the rest of that regime. That I know.
