Blues were up 2-0 on Chicago when brent Seabrook got suspended for 3 games in 2014 and they lost in 6 games.

Sam Hitchcock: Lightning Face Reckoning

Looks like da Bolts shared your expectations for the first round, Sam. How many games will Kucherov get for that dirty hit? Kadri got three for a similar play.

These games have been so depressing. The only thing giving me hope right now is the fact that the Caps went down 0-2 last year, but were still able to pull out the series in 6 games. Time to see if Cooper actually makes some adjustments, which is unlikely based on stubbornness in the past

Hedman is still concussed. Shouldnt be playing. Looks like he is doubtful for game 3 based on the beat writers for the Lightning.

Lightning have all the adversity they could want now with probably no Hedman and no Kucherov. Lets see what they can do and what Cooper can adjust in order to to beat the neutral zone trap. Every playoffs he doesn't seem capable of a game plan to beat it.

They know the stakes and they have to win game 3.

Hedman will play, can't see him sitting out, especially being down 2 in the series.

If they were up in the series maybe he would sit a game or two.

Yeah should've been 2 games. Kucherov got away with being suspended last year in playoffs. Sure he hasn't been suspended before (but should have), which probably lead to him only getting one game. But it should've been 2 regardless. That being said, at least he got a game lol.

Being rested or not is not an issue, a 29 year old athlete should have no problems playing a season and being ready for the playoffs. Columbus’ players have had less rest, having to play hard minutes until game 81, and they look faster. The issue is really just effort, it looks like Tampa expected to cruise past the Jackets and weren’t ready. If they can win game 3 I think it’s a whole new series. The Jackets still haven’t proven they can close out a series.

Especially considering it was the initial trip that put The guy in a vulnerable position to begin with. Takes the guy down then takes his head off

How does he only get one game? Dude targeted the head, when he was down, and didnt try to avoid. Should be rest of playoffs, in tampas case, 2 games.

Player was on his knees when Kuch hit him. He got off easy. If Tampa was up 2-0 in series, it would have been more

Lightning in 6, I think losing Kuchervov for just a stupid, worthless, cheap ass hit may be what the Team Needs, everyone can't just look to #86 to make things happen.

You guys blow! WTF. I'm assuming Cooper is gone. Every once in a while a coach kind of needs to call out his team, or at least give opponent credit, and he's does neither his entire tenure in Tampa

Cooper quoted from the bench, " I thought we haaaaaad a greeeaaat 2nd". Lol.

Shot attempts 37-19 in favor of Columbus.

Cooper a dumb arse
