The Advanced stats show that Washington is typically a terrible team. That being said, they are a team that scores off the rush, and is a larger tough to play against team. They are incredibly efficient in capitalizing upon their opportunities. Carolina is really well coached, fast, positionally sound, and play really well. If they had one or two superstars in that mix, they way they play would make them a top tier team.


. . . and while I am always a "protect the goalie" kind of guy - that goal should have counted. The skater was outside of the crease, Holtby initiated the contact and then Holtby tried to sell the contact by spinning like an idiot. Had he played that contact for what it was - minor and incidental - he would have been in position to stop that shot.

Just lose in the first round so kings have a better draft pick from TOR

That's what I thought. I'd say you could justify 2 minutes for charging since he took more than 3 strides to deliver that hit, but the guy's face bounces off of Ferland's back. That's not intent to injure.

Yeah that can’t happen. Just because a player falls weirdly and he fans call a penalty it doesn’t mean it’s a penalty.

That just can’t happen, call a 2 min if you didn’t see the play properly.

Just lackluster and a let down. The show peaked at the trinity.

Maybe just the angle I saw, but it definitely looked like head was the initial point of contact. They'll call that pretty much every time.
