oh, this just another schtick...

Carry on

?

Everyone seems to have gone soft like the Leafs. It's playoff hockey. Whistles are put away. Every shift is a battle. You fight back. The opposition fights back. This is the playoffs. The players will dictate how it goes. Been that way ever since I remember anywho.

Now we're talking suspensions???

Mostly agree. Give Kadri his three games and lets move the hell on. I like the bad blood.

The NHL needs to decide if they want playoff hockey or if they don't want playoff hockey.

Kadri, Hyman, Muzzin, Marchand, DeBrusk, Chara, Pastrnak, Grezlyk, Krejci and McAvoy were playing playoff hockey.

The rest weren't.

Depends on if they can prove clear intent, especially since he doesn’t have the history Kadri does.

Seriously?

https://youtu.be/sLXUHcmJoZg

A few seconds in. Its interference pretty clearly, but the slash after? Thats at least a 5. Could be given a game. A two handed slash to a player on the ice? Hell i could see that given a few games.

30 seconds in? Thats another two shots to the head to a player on the ice. Pretty gutless, cant argue intent, and should get penalized, if not more.

At the mijute mark, not only an elbow but third man in. Usually automatic suspension.

I could go on.

But its fine, i know they wont. So screw it. Next time crosscheck bergeron in the head as hard as possible. Macavoy would also be another good one to target.

On the bright side, krug is concussed.

Im not rattled at all. I just think the appropriate response is to give bergeron a spot in the press box with krug. And of course dim the lights for them in that room.

Im not crying at all. Jeez cant you read? I responded to a post questioning intent with several incidents of clear content. I like what kadri did, i just think he should have squared up and gotten a better shot, face to face, on bergeron. At the very least get a much better shot on debrusk.

But they got krug. Maybe they can get bergeron tomorrow.

Oh really? That sucks. I was hoping he was done for the series. Youbsure? They said earlier he wasnt.

Okay so maybe they finish the job on him first.

"According to the NHL/NHLPA collective bargaining agreement, a player has the right to an in-person hearing if facing a disciplinary suspension of six or more games."

That's from nhl. Com story. So not sure if the minimum is 5 or 6.

Regardless say goodnight to Kaz...

It was Kadri that wanted the in person

we can nitpick specific dirty plays here and there -- and there were tons on both sides -- but the problem is that the refs cannot let it get out of hand, they can't let the crowd dictate how the game is going to be played, and they can't put the whistles away for a game and "let them play" when that kind of shenanigans is going on.

Guy's will get hurt, careers will get shortened. Nobody wants that.

The problem is that "playoffs hockey" essentially translates into "wholly inconsistent officiating" for the most part.

We'll get a by-the-letter called game back in TOR, guaranteed.

Be interesting to see the tune in here if Bergeron, Marchand or Pastrnak were taken out for the series.

Sure hope Krug isn't one big hit from blowing bubbles into his mashed potatoes. He's already marked if he returns.

The nonsense being spewed by these leaf fans is making be me dumber by the comment. Our guy takes a high stick to the face, and your response for course of action is to have someone take a cheap shot at Bergeron?

And people call us knuckle-draggers??

The high stick is in relation to DeBrusk's attempted knee minutes earlier. Any comment on that?

Amazing how Bruins fans disregard DeBrusk's knee, but how extreme and severe Kadri's crosscheck was when DeBrusk sold it and IMMEDIATELY got up, looked fine, skated to the bench on his own and will likely play tonight despite being listed as "day-to-day."

And two handed slash to a guy on the ice. And punch to the face of Kadri while he was on his knees. Among others.

Yep, you're damn right I'm going after Krug's and Bergeron's head.

If you can't take it, don't dish it.

This....

It's hypocrisy to the max. Leafs fans have always been a joke, but this is taking it to the next level.
