The high stick is in relation to DeBrusk's attempted knee minutes earlier. Any comment on that?

Amazing how Bruins fans disregard DeBrusk's knee, but how extreme and severe Kadri's crosscheck was when DeBrusk sold it and IMMEDIATELY got up, looked fine, skated to the bench on his own and will likely play tonight despite being listed as "day-to-day."

Again, another comment on the level of a short bus superstar. How is it cool for you to come here and wish injury upon players and gloat about those who have already been injured? Say you hope a guy is blowing bubbles in his mashed potatoes? All because some douche bag on the team you root for couldn't keep his emotions in check, and made a premeditated vicious cross check to a guys face, which then you want to claim "he sold it!" You're a (frank)ing joke.

And two handed slash to a guy on the ice. And punch to the face of Kadri while he was on his knees. Among others.

Yep, you're damn right I'm going after Krug's and Bergeron's head.

If you can't take it, don't dish it.

- prock

You forgot to mention that Kadri's slew foot in game 1 started the whole thing.
I get it though. The victim card is a great one for you kids to play.
Waaaaah.

So a crap player like debrusk goes after important players and we are supposed to take them out of the play by fighting him?

No way. Fight fire with fire. Take a fourth liner and dump bergeron head first into the boards.

Spoken like a true rat. You're probably a closet Marchand fan boy.

EDIT: Also DeBrusk seems to be having himself a good season. Not sure he is crap player. But OK.

C'mon man. You're calling for gross and cowardly retaliation. I would want my guy to respond the right way. Instead Kadri made a fool of himself and the Leafs, again. Instead of sitting for 5+, he is gone and hurting the team once again. Having someone as skilled as a 3C was major advantage for you that has evaporated.

The Leafs toughest player won't suit up again this series.
Who exactly do you expect to dole out this punishment to Bergeron?
Greedy Willy?
The Ghost of Bustin Matthews?
Tyler Ennis perhaps?
1st ballot hall of Famer Jake Muzzin?
Muzzin has a monster target on his back right now.
He's gonna be real quiet from here on in cause he knows he's got no back up to help him out.
I'm still outraged you guys haven't acknowledged the dirty slewfoot that started the whole thing.

Seriously?

https://youtu.be/sLXUHcmJoZg

A few seconds in. Its interference pretty clearly, but the slash after? Thats at least a 5. Could be given a game. A two handed slash to a player on the ice? Hell i could see that given a few games.

30 seconds in? Thats another two shots to the head to a player on the ice. Pretty gutless, cant argue intent, and should get penalized, if not more.

At the mijute mark, not only an elbow but third man in. Usually automatic suspension.

I could go on.

But its fine, i know they wont. So screw it. Next time crosscheck bergeron in the head as hard as possible. Macavoy would also be another good one to target.

On the bright side, krug is concussed.

I agree; stupid cross check.

Here's what I don't agree with: is how few penalties your team took. You guys play on the edge, you're team is built that way, that's your philosophy in the dressing room.

We're not. Should we be? Maybe, but we're not. We play fast, skilled, clean hockey.

Except that in the Playoffs, the rules are forgotten and we're supposed to do a complete 180 and play differently.

We were the least rewarded team in the league this season; you guys took the most penalties in the league. But somehow, we're coming out behind in the PP opportunities.

That's what I don't like. Call it the same all year; no other league does this kind of bullpoop.

Gross and cowardly retaliation to gross and cowardly acts? Sure.

I mean if the refs won't call it, you gotta make a team pay the piper somehow.

The advantage of 3C is gone, time to regain that by dumping Bergeron headfirst into the boards.

Exactly. And return the favour. Bergeron, Pastrnak, Krug. All of them should be kissing the endboards all night tonight. Or pulling Sherwood splinters out of their teeth. Or maybe pulling their teeth out of a sherwood. That's all I'm saying.

You are very inaccurate with your assessment of injuries and gameplay.
Come here and have a civil chat if you like, but leave the victim chit at the the Big Bad Door.
Kadri's an excellent player who often goes too far once agitated. DeBrusk is not a goon. He was responding to game 1's antics.
Bruins in 5.

What in the actual Fcuk are you talking about?

Kadri is not the toughest leaf, first of all. There are plenty of players capable of tossing another player into the boards, just ask Krug.

It actually doesn't take much. Two players skating towards the boards, it's pretty easy for one to send the other headfirst in.

Yeah, he's talking about Kadri's borderline slew foot that you're choosing to ignore.

The Bruins don't control the refs though no matter how much your tin foil hat intensifies. I don't know why Bruins fans are expected to answer for the refs. Your team needs hike up their skirts, focus on what can control, and over come that. Poor officiating happens to every team and they'll never win a cup unless they can battle back.

As for the team philosophy.Too (frank)ing bad. If the Leafs are so good why is the series tied? I don't remember any zebras scoring on Anderson.

I agree if the refs won't call it or are just doing a poor job sure do something. There is however, a right way and a wrong way. Also you keep calling for Bergeron's head...Means you most likely have never put on a pair of skates as you have zero respect for players in general or you're a low rent human being. Probably both.

Also, I always hear/read you Make BeLeafs fans screaming "Karma" when you lose a game, a series, a trade, ect ect. That kind of Karma is pretty heavy, but hey do you. Best of luck with that. I'm sure Babcock and crew will be enjoying the links in a weeks time.

You guys know what your roster looks like right? Nazem Kadri is your tough guy and he might be gone for 2+ games.

An old fashioned playoff series won’t end well for your Leafs.

I think he's saying everyone takes everyone else out. Swinging sticks and such. Our AHL team is better than theirs, so he may be on to something.

Ive played hockey my whole life. And when teams take liberties with your team, and the refs or league wont do anything, you do it yourself.

Youre right. I have no respect for a team that goes out and hits knee on knee, punches in the head, etc. And as i have no respect for that, i would respond accordingly.

You speak of karma but dont seem to realize that karma is exactly what im advocating. Just delivered by our players.

Lol. You've got a lot going on there bud.
I bet in those super leagues you've spent your whole life playing in are a real gentlemen's leagues. Taking a rip on the outdoor rink in Cabbage Hill must be just like the game the pros play.
Go on home Karen, you're drunk again.
