You guys still don't seriously think that debrusk stuck his knee out do you?

I went back and forth thinking about it and watching the replay and I honestly don't think it was malicious.

- AngryWhiteMale

Yeah ok. It was a knee. Same as it was an elbow to the face of Dermott.

Ref cald the elbow maybe DeBrusk doesnt pull the knee. Refs call the knee DeBrusk is gone and doesnt pull the hit on Marleau and Kadri doesnt retaliate.

Kadri was stupid. Jump him, throw down fine. Dont crosscheck him in the head. Kadri rightly is gone now.

That said refs didnt do their job at all and its on them totally for losing control of things.

It was pretty sweet.. we did mushrooms and it was wild.. kinda our own little burning man. The beach was amazing though, huge. We played football all day and got drunk. It was at the WAC Bennett dam, biggest lake in BC.

Last time I did shrooms, me and my buddy walked to the top of the Bluffs and sat at a bench for what felt like 6 hours. Was only actually around 30 minutes.

Pretty awesome, though. Full moon on a clear sky night. And 2 random people walked up the bluffs with those head light things, like what miners wear. (frank)ing weird.

I think though, honestly, as much as we want this team to be bad ass Bruins murderers, Kadri being out, Nylander centering that line, is probably going to help his game, and help the Leafs keep the emotions in check.

Let the Bruins play their game, we can play ours. There's no point in trying to match physicality.

Most times it’s the guy trying to avoid the hit that causes it, not always but quite often.

Marchand hits Tavares in the head in front of the refs; Chara and the relentless stick work... hey, that's their game, cool, but they're also the most penalized team in the league so we should have beaucoup PP opportunities.

THIS

Honestly though hitting skating and pressuri g them worked fine. Trying to grind hit and seek revenge doesnt. Need to be smarter and play our game. Babs was out coached game 2 and our guys were stupidly doing right what the Bruins wanted.

Refs not doin their jobs. Period. Players have to fight through it but.... Meier should be demoted to the AHL and stay there till he shows he can ref properly

I don't see how anyone can look at that as anything but a last second attempt to cause injury.

No no. Fair enough but while you are at it Gryz gets the same treatment for his stick to the face hitting Tavares in the head too.

And Chara is held accountable for all his punches and crosschecks too.

- Roadrunner75

Bruins mgmt is way ahead of leafs.. listing Debrusk as questionable. Of course he'll play. Leafs should release stat that karri needs MRI on knee.. which he probably does. Demott to play with cage.

Meanwhile Matthew's and nylander at hospital awaiting heart transplants

I live in the city. Worst thing here is coyotes and they don't bother people. Was not expecting people to walk up the side of the Bluffs wearing them.

I'm not into the blaming refs...I never have been, but yeah - he stuck his knee out. I'm hoping that gives Naz some leeway.

Be nice if Shanny goes to bat for Naz. Maybe go to the meeting with a bunch of tape from the game and the shenanigans that the refs let go.

The refs I'm sure would've had a talking to and the game will be called by the letter, as it always is in Toronto when they're under the spotlight.

Play how you're built; you did ok this year playing fast and skilled, you're not going to turn this team into the '74 Flyers.

It's whether or not you're intimidated by the physicality or not and can play through it.

Guy's like Nylander, riding shotgun with Kadri: you're going to be a target; he's not that kind of a player. Call him a softie, whatever, but let that kid center the 3rd line and start scoring, start breaking out and sustaining pressure, not poopting his pants in the corner.

Ennis though, he's not afraid to get hit. He'll be ok.
