Avery is such an idiot. he's literally the poster child for dirty play on the ice, but refusing to answer for it. him telling Matthews to step up and drop the glove goes so far beyond hilarity and irony that i don't even know what word to use to describe it. you can literally google "avery, turtle" and there are dozens of examples of him doing the complete opposite of what he just called Matthews out for.

Avery is a piece of poop that needs to disappear

He has a point, it was a dirty hit. Not a penalty or suspendible. But it was a hit that players try to avoid.

With that being said it didn’t warrant a cross check to the face.

I hope kadri gets suspended. I think Nylander can move to the the C spot and be more effective there. He has in the past.

And hopefully that spells an end for Kadri. Move him out west.

Speed isn't negated unless you allow it to be by the players not wanting to compete or the refs allowing the slower team to slow the game down by not calling obvious penalties

The leafs have to play their game, they won when they played it. Last night they didn't play their game.

And the league most certainly has to fix the reffing, what joke. They have zero consistency. They say no headshots and then allow blatant elbows to the head and crosschecks to the face, until this happens then It's not ok.

Playoff series are all about adjustments.

The leafs at couched the bruins in game 1 and the bruins outcoached the Leafs in game 2.

It’s up to the staff to adjust and the players to execute now. This is where that important playoff experience comes into play.

I think there were lots of dirty hits in that game, by both teams....the hit on Marceau wasn’t a dirty hit.

The Leafs tenacious forechecking gets the Bruins into trouble, gotta figure out how to execute that again.

I want to see a Moore-Nylander-Marleau line next game.

He hit him into the corner glass.

That’s absolutely a dirty hit and always has been. It’s on the line and doesn’t cross it. Don’t get your panties in a twist.

One loss and it's all "leafs never had a chance. No toughness. Etc." When they win the series don't celebrate and tell me "you knew it all along".

Before the playoffs if anyone was asked here if theyd take a split in Boston they would have said yes. This is fine.

If this series goes beyond 5 games then the same crew will say they predicted that too, who were ragging on me about saying the leafs won't win in 5.

If it’s a “dirty hit” then why aren’t players penalized when they do it....like ever. If it was such a dirty play dont you think a penalty would exist to stop players. From doing it?

Read what I said ffs.

Marchand does a lot of stuff that’s barely crossing the line. Is he a dirty player? Absolutely.

But he’s very good at barely crossing the line...but it doesn’t make it a clean play.

Stop making a fool of yourself.

The leafs outplayed the bruins in game 1 and the Bruins outplayed the Leafs in game 2.

On to game 3. I know you really want the Leafs to lose but quit being clueless. It’s a playoff series with ups and downs. It’s not hard to comprehend this.

I said 4 games. Now saying 5. Because I'm a homer come playoffs.

Wait, what!!! Based on this logic knee on knee is clean. Elbow to face draws blood is clean.

I've watched the Kadri check and zoomed in and watched it again and again. It was meh and I've seen way worse by Chara. It was more of a turtle sell job. With all the things let go i would say were worse. Five min penalty was all its worth and any more then one game is a sham. If it was the Boston player who did that I can 100% (frank)ing guarantee it probably just be two mins.

I said Leafs in 5.

I still think they win 2 at home. That game 5 is a toss up for me.

Krug for Kadri is a wash.

Nylander at C will be better imo, he’s better there. And Moore needs a bigger role. There’s some positives in this...would rather have Kadri obviously but with Krug being out too it’s fine.

Seeing Bruins fans pretending they play clean and are angels and crying about calls is the most pathetic thing

.

If anyone even remotely knows hockey. The charge and jump that hit Muzzin was worse then anything Kadri did. Its a (frank)ing joke is what it is.

Kadri is probably gone for this series - was a stupid hit. That said, Nylander might have been the least effective leaf foward yesterday. He was outstanding in game one. Needs to grow a pair of balls and fight for the puck. There was significant acting by Debrusk - didn't miss a shift. He's a lowlife. Bruins instead of fielding a top six could field two complete low life lines, maybe three.

Almost as pathetic as the trolls from irrelevant teams stopping by to troll.
