Seeing who ends up on the phantoms roster is equally as exciting for me as the flyers for next year. So many kids graduating to the pro level.

Very cool piece on McKenna. I love following these journeymen guys in the minor leagues who never give up on their dream. He's a throwback to the days on Unaffiliated IHL teams which I miss.

What is Ivans contract going to be? Bridge or Long Term, Im not sure they'll back the money truck up to him long term like was thought the beginning of the year but he' still clearly a solid first line D Man for years to come, Cant say I have ever had less clue to what this contract would look like

Personally I am hoping they can get him to sign a bridge deal. Mainly to keep cap flexibility for the next three or four seasons. Similar to what Ghost signed.

Same goes for Sanheim and Konecny.

One can hope right?

Always cool to red stories of people getting after their dreams and living life on their own terms.

Obviously you're hoping for team friendly contracts. These are big ones especially for fletcher first major negotiations. Sanheim I expect to go easier. But provy tk both worry me. Tk has proven to be a top 6 scoring wing. They get paid. Comparables are 5.5-6.5 per

Im hoping provorov signs for 8 years at under 7 but I think it’s a 6 year deal

He’s a 25 goal scorer. I think those numbers are about right. I’d hope for 5.75 on a 5 or 6 year term

His stats are slightly below nylander who got 6 years 6.9 per.

I don’t think they’ll know until they have a complete roster. At least that’s the last I read about it.

Aside from the coaching/system discussion, 2 reliable good healthy goaltenders and things would be different.. Maybe not so much different record/outcome at the NHL level except they would not have disrupted the farm system.. Someone else besides Neuvirth on the roster and its definitely different.. so many keystones not in the right places..

The phantoms were a decimated team this year. Next year they’ll be flush with youngsters which is a good thing.

Bold move by Colorado. This burns the first year of his ELC, but more importantly (in my eyes), if he plays a game this postseason, he will have to be protected in the next expansion draft.

Great piece on McKenna, Bill! For all the stories we read day in and day out regarding huge contracts to spoiled athletes, reading about a great guy with a compelling story is the perfect counter.

I’m going to curse the day you stop writing here!

Thank you for all your contributions!!đź‘Ť

Embarrassing. Why are the Penguns getting eaten alive by the Islanders?
You mean you are allowed to win when you don't have as much talent as your opponent? What a concept.

Crosby has zero points through 7 periods against the FIshsticks. I wonder how many points he had through 7 periods in the first round of last year..
Fact check he had 4 goals.
