For all the "I know better than the professionals " people crying about them interviewing AV as being the same type of retread..

You werent Happy with Hak and Berube who were not retreads.
You arent happy with AV who is an experienced coach.

That only means Giroux is the focus of the Flyers whole offense. Stamkos has never had a healthy season with fewer then 30 goals except last year, while Giroux has never had a season with more then 30 goals except last season.

Come on dude, you want to compair Giroux's best year to Stamkos's when he was coming off a MAJOR injury. Sure.... Giroux's best year, vs Stamkos' worst year is still only a 20 point difference.

I understand Giroux is your boy, but your not being objective.

giroux is not on the level of Stamoks, Kuch, Ovechkin, Crosby, McDavid, Kane, Gaudreau... hell he doesn't even play as tough as Marchand

To me there are Tier 1 stars in the league:
Crosby, Malkin, McJeebus, Kucherov, OV, Kane, possibly Matthews.

Then you have Tier 2 stars to me...
Giroux, Stamkos, Pavelski, Tarvares and the like.

Couturier never had to be a number one center with Giroux here. Couturier was never expected to be the guy, Patrick is.

I know you can't comprehend all information thrown at you but like i said they had a 20 point PP points difference and one guy was playing with Kucherov and Hedman. I'm done with this, think whatever you want.

Guy has done well everywhere he's went, I like this hire.

That half ass Hextall rebuild while staying "competitive" is working wonders.

Stay the course. Thank god Holmgren and Clarke are still involved to guide this team year after year.

No issues with this hire ..

Isnt a Hitch or Lavi sad attempt to live in the past.
Isnt a roll of the dice like Hak or Berube.
Is a top candidate of who was realistically available.
Done before draft.
