No one said you were less of a fan. I just dont get the hate. Chara, Marchand and Bergeron are the only remaining players (I believe) from the team. Management is different as well. I just dont get the hate, they were the better team and it was ages ago.

Fair enough, I have hated the Leafs since I started watching hockey in 1970 and wouldn't want too see that crap happen to 1 of their players.

No, a suspension was appropriate for Kadri’s use of the stick. The length is unfortunate from a fans perspective because the games will lose a bit of it’s intensity.

But to suggest a lengthy suspension for that is a bit reactionary considering cross checking is pretty standard in the NHL throughout its history. So is spearing, boarding, punches to the face, and really nasty stick work, even from some of our greatest hockey heroes.

We used to have historical rivalries with LA, Chicago and Minny but as of today, I dont really see us as having a current or active one with any of them. I wont disagree, rivalries are crucial in sports, but we havent been relevant to Boston, or vice versa, since the 2011 finals, in my opinion.

Or even keep the team there for more than 1 season. This team get one crack at the cup and the implodes the following season. And another 10 to 12 years go by before we get another.
