Boqvist managed 20 goals on the season and ten more in 11playoff games.
but in the playoffs was a minus 2 before tonight's match and until elite prospects updates tommorw I can't seem to find the larger box score stats.
There's much more muscle needed just like Henri and Mitchell...beaudin looks to have the best functional hockey strength at this point...

Again MacKenzie Entwistle is a kid that is cool, workman like and isn't some checker, he is smart chiseled and winner.

....as we all agree a bunch of lightweight scorers can be the only soldiers at both positions.

now you guys got me thinking we are gonna raid the lightning...

I’m sure they’re upset right now. As bad as we felt in 2017 they have to feel much worse right now.
- DarthKane

Most definitely. It's the horrible part about fandom. The Lightning locker room must feel down right sh!tty, too.

Buff a big part of that Wheeler to Sheifele to Conner goal...

I am happy Jets tied it...

it just means more good games on both sides

They lost the SC Final to the Hawks after leading the series. They lost in 7 games to the Penguins after that. They had the Caps down 3-2 last year and choked that away. And now swept away by the 8th seed.

Probably time to conclude this group doesn't have it to win the big prize.

Living here, and refusing to even try and be a semiLightning fan, it bugged me the agents the hawks they in my opinion were pretty ignorant with their pre-Cup hype, with signs and shirts and such abbreviating Stanley Cup to "Stanley"

To me, it was Lord Stanley's Cup or the Stanley Cup and when Seabrook injured the little centre Johnson's knee with clean body working then Ben Bishop crashed into his defenseman and Sharp scored I felt the hawks were certainly lucky and it was the difference in a possibly closer series that might have gone their way.
But (frank)'em.

They have a marvelous season and over the course they thought the goalie could handle it b/c he did the year before, and the were certain the Russian defender would be at least decent and after giant Cernak blocked so many shots, that he would be ok.
Cernak was only minus 2 the Russian minus four and Stamkos minus 8

Following the 7-3 defeat in Game 4, Tampa's official Twitter account sent out a message to their fans.
"We don’t have any words and we know you don’t want to hear them. We understand your anger, your frustration, your sadness," the Tweet said. "Everything you’re feeling – we get it. This isn’t the ending we imagined, and certainly not the one we wanted. Thank you for being there the entire way."

Wiz mentioned Wheeler at TheAthletic so I went and read it and now I'm thinking Byram might be the guy we should take. Sheesh! I'm like a "LIFO" - "Last In First Out". It's like the last thing I read is the first thing I want. If I read a draft analyst say a pygmy from New Guinea is the best prospect, I'd be like - yeah, let's get the pygmy ... until I read about the next guy. Settle down. Right?

I know how to get 1,000 hits on this site in one day. Just invite readers to vote in a straw poll. Two votes each so you can vote on the top three choices in numerical order you think 1) the order of draft and 2) the order you wish the players get drafted.

There could be a lot of votes for Hughes to drop into our lap; for the russian Pod to wear the indian head; for the power forward type we surely need in Cozens; or perhaps a dman or Turcotte is your secret choice..There might even be a vote for a pygmy.

I think many of us are in the same LIFO boat, I know I am. Wiz tells us Pod is a great player so I'm like, "ok it's Pod". Then someone says Cozens and I'm ok it's Cozens. Then Elbows says Turcotte and I'm all for Turcotte, then Dach, Byram, etc. etc. etc.. That's why I resist getting into the speculation. I've seen video clips of all of them, but they only show good clips of course. I have seen Cozens and Dach play a couple of games each on TV. So my two cents isn't worth much, and is why I'll just wait to see who that select.

Of course they don't come from New Guinea, though .... sounds like saying a cowboy from Brooklyn.

But wait. True Grit told me that their young coach, John Cooper, was soooo much better than the old school dinosaurs like Q and Torts. So, Torts put in a defensive system and Cooper couldn’t figure out how to beat it.

Perhaps there still is a place in the game for playing defense, coaching defense, and limiting shots and goals against? Shocking!

Cooper sure got schooled by an archiac washed up dinosaur didn't he? He may want to look into teaching the team a defensive structure and he may also want to heed the words of a Russian coach, who's name escapes me, you can't go to war and expect to win with all Generals and no soldiers. Very few Tampa players were willing to get dirty, bloody or work up a sweat.

At a bachelor party once I saw a porn where they made somp poor woman blow a horse and I thought she choked. No words for the Lightning. But it should be noted that the rules do change for the better to guys like Torts, Trotz... and that does matter in the end. I hope SB finally realizes this as well as Colliton.

I watched the London Guelph OHL playoff series and it was hard to pick a team to cheer for. Boqvist on London and Entwhistle on Guelph. Entwhistle was amazing after the third game. He Suzuki and Ratcliffe were unstoppable. Entwhistle can do it all, at least in Junior. He plays on the top line, he's on the first powerplay and the first penalty killing unit. He's physical but he isn't a bone crusher. He's smart and disciplined. He takes almost all defensive zone faceoffs on both his strong and weak sides. He can skate well though he's not blazing fast, he has an OK first step but it needs to be worked on. He has a good snapshot with a great release, he passes well and seems to see the ice very well. He's strong on his skates but his edgework isn't great, possibly due to being 6'4"?

He still has a ways to go, the NHL is still a pretty big step but he has a full toolbox it's up to him and the Hawks to finish his development and hopefully we see him in the Indian head sometime next season after some time in Rockford playing against men.

He could also stand to get little heavier, I hear there is a renowned place hidden somewhere in the suburbs of Chicago where he can put on 20 lbs of muscle. Maybe the 20 lbs of muscle never found by Kruger, Shaw and a myriad of other Hawk prospects?

Ya this just in, that Trotz guy can coach!

Islanders sweeping the Pens, who saw that coming on July 1st last year. Everyone thought they might not win a game.

Only thing that would make playoffs better right now, is if Isles would beat the leafs, and Tavares would go scoreless and be a -10 for the series.

Reading the Lightning blog on HockeyBuzz. Some of the posters are ready to trade Killorn, Johnson, Palat, etc. Some of them have NMC/NTCs. One poster wants to even trade Point.

Winners usually seem to find a way to win. It’s what they do. Conversely, losers lose. Tampa Bay Losers.
