I'm gonna say 3-2 Toronto here tonight. Another slugfest battle but we win.

Cant wait for Matthew's to drop the gloves at center and fight debrusk like avery said he should. That guy was a turtle and the biggest piece of garbage to play in the NHL. I think the leafs need to focus on the task at hand and forget what a moron kadri is. Also I thought debrusk finished Marleau clean their momentum carried him into the glass. In other words idt he was driven into that glass. Other stuff may have been borderline but what kadri did was way beyond any other incident and he shouldn't play till round 2 if there is one. This is a good series looking forward to watching tonight's game

So reported Krug and DeBrusk both in and playing tonight. Interesting there. Yup the soccer player was real hurt wasn't he?!

Krug someone on the bench better make sure he does his helmet up for a change there. Am a bit surprised on him, that was a hell of a clean hit he took. Thought he likely was concussed again there from the looks of him. Don't think he is anywhere near right, but hopefully doesn't make it worse taking another knock tonight.

Also have to wonder how that plays into the Kadri thing there too

Man it would be nice to have some actual lineup options heading into tonight.

Can't count on the Bruins coming out trying to match the Leafs speed/skill like game one...now they have no centre depth to account for another boneheaded Kadri suspension and the Bruins know they can push the Leafs around, so will keep doing it to critical acclaim.

-This team is less equipped to deal with all the ways the Bruins can beat them this year compared to last.
-They don't have dynamic rookie energy to be called up and inserted into the lineup in the form of Kapanen and Johnnson.
-They don't have the option of inserting Matt Martin or Leo Komarov for push back (looking pretty good with the Isles up 3-0 and playing key roles)
-They got another redundant 5'9" 4th line winger at the deadline instead.
-And as much as it pains me to say, no turtleneck to shore up the middle for a couple games.

But they're fast and skilled - too bad that won't get you out of your division in the playoffs for another 3-4 years unless something changes.

Except Marleau can play center, Petan can as well, think Ennis can too, and both Nylander and Marner have and can as well.

We have used him there prior, rarely and he doesn't like to, but he can.

Quick google search.... Marleau takes faceoff VS Bruins... oh look....

I didn't think Kadri's cross check was all that bad, it's not like he took a baseball bat swing at the guy. It wasn't dangerous, Debrusk was fine. League is soft for this one and DOPS is an absolute joke.

Shocker.

Maybe someone in the Leafs organization - a player, coach, management...anyone - should get fired up and actually say something aggressive about the refereeing, or the Bruins taking liberties running around without consequence, or anything that may inspire some life out of this roster.

Babcock should've dipped into his piggy bank and ripped the league for those zebras on Saturday night post game and taken a fine. Would've been the best $5K he could've spent.

But no - they'll take the high road right to another 1st round exit.

Avery is a moron for even suggesting it honestly. If someone were to fight debrusk who would that even be? Muzzin? Not trolling but who are the sandpaper guys on the leafs I thought kadri was one but he cant seem to keep his composure

It wasn’t that bad but it was retaliatory and a repeat offender. Crosby took a worse one to the chops in last years playoffs.
